A tingling sensation shot up through Kaida's entire body when the prince spoke so close to her ear. Her muscles were not exactly sore but his closeness had kept her flexing them each time her body came in contact with his armour.
"N...No." Kaida fought to hide the effect of his voice on her but with her body so close to him it was close to impossible. Not to mention that she was practically locked in by his body as they rode to Telarion. This time, riding at his back wasn't even an option. He had her sit up front and the moment he got on, their ride for Telarion began.
She wasn't complaining though, if anything she was more than glad. She felt safe with him so close. It helped with the terrible nerves she had when it was time to leave.
