She may have been in the void for God knows how long but Kaida clearly remembered it. The sight of Uther's blood as it trickled down through his armour right where his heart was supposed to be. She saw the beast's claws sticking out as Uther collapsed to the ground. No sound escaped his lips. His eyes however, said all that his heart that was broken literally would have wanted to say. She heard it as clear as day. She remembered flying right to his side to try and save him and failing. She remembered how he cried out in pain when she seemed to suck out what remained of his life with just her touch, the gut wrenching pain that ripped through her as she descended into nothingness.
