"Congratulations! You are pregnant," she says with a sly smile on her face. "What! No, I am not; I can't be," she panicked. Or can she? "But you are; this strip here proves it," she says, waving the white thing with two red lines in the middle. "You see these two lines, right?" she pointed at them. She nodded her head, not sure what to do anymore. "Well, these two pretties say that you Are. Pregnant," she punctuated each sentence by pointing at her extremely flat stomach. "It means that you are carrying a human being inside your tummy for the next nine months," she adds. Lily placed her hand on her extremely flat tummy. She is not sure just how a human being can be inside of it. The woman must be mistaken; that must be it. "You know what happens when a man and a woman are alone together, don't you? So here's your result," she adds. She is already feeling her victory set up already."And this guy over there, as she pointed out, is the father," she says. Lily did everything but scream. No! He is not the father, or could he be? But how?. She doesn't even know what to think anymore. The next thing she knows, she is out—totally out.
