Chapter 17

I woke up by the softness of pillows and smell of something delicious that made me open my eyes and blink a few times. The sunlight peered through the windows carrying the sound of birds outside. At first, i was just relaxing but my heart beats in frantic when i realized that i was not in my room and completely naked under the cover.

There is no one here in bed aside from me which makes me feel a little better despite of fear. Well, at least i have a chance to think of what im going to do. I slowly sat up while covering my nakedness. My mind can't comprehend what happened last night after i talked to Aerin but im 100% that brat spiked my drink and i was too dumb to notice!

I felt really dizzy and nauseous until a group of guys came to me then i can't remember anything anymore. Oh my gosh, what did those bastards do to me? Did they take advantage of me?

"I need to leave!" I whispered to myself to save my dignity and reputation of my family. My clothes were on bedside table, they are all clean together with my phone but when i was about to reach for it when the door suddenly opened.

I wasn't ready to face—

"Hey, morning."

My heart stopped beating. "Ca-cameron?" I honestly don't know whether to feel happy or scared that she is here. Cameron is wearing a short, overly size shirt and rubber shoes with her strawberry hair perfectly comb around her beautiful face.

"How are you feeling?" Cameron asked casually.

My gripped tightened against the cover. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

"This is my—"

"And why im naked!?" I questioned her with my voice increased. "Did something happened between us!?"

The green eyed girl pressed the side of her head against the doorway sexily. "So would you rather be with those assholes next to you?"

I'm horrified. "What do you mean?" My mouth felt really dried. I was waiting for her to smile or laugh so i know that she is only joking. "Did they..."

Cameron sighed. "I told you Lily that i will be back but what happened? You were gone and if I didn't search for you.." She sounded frustrated but her face is full of worries. "They might have taken advantage of you."

"I wasn't." My jaw tightened. "But Aerin came—"

"Aerin?" Cameron asked surprised. Like this is the first time heard her name. "I thought she wouldn't come—"

"She was there." I stated with a thick shook of my head. "Aerin apologize to me for everything, she gave me a drink because i thought she was really sincere to reconcile with me but then.."

"That b***h!" Cameron hissed. I could imagine her nostrils steaming. "I swear to God. I will punch her to the face when i see her."

Honestly, i don't feel mad with Aerin but more like really disappointed. I never expect her to do this low just because of her anger and insecurities. But you know hatred won't change anything right now because the damage has been done. I will deal with Aerin soon but now I must think how to explain everything to my parents.

"Get dress Lily, breakfast is ready." Cameron said as she swiftly turned on her back. "And to give you some peace of mind." She looked at me over her shoulder. "Nothing happened to you last night, i have found you just in time before those bastard could even touch you."

I sighed in relief. "But then why i don't have clothes? Did—"

"Well you puke all over your clothes last night Lily and i have to clean you up since you were sleeping in my room." Cameron explained with a shrugged.

Now, i felt more conscious of myself because Cameron already see my body. She left and i

dressed up. Also, i took this an opportunity to look around Cameron's room. It was covered of baby pink wallpapers, a dream catcher hanging on a window. In the corner, there's a desk and laptop. A small cabinet with plenty of picture frames on top of it. With my very high curiosity, i went to the cabinet and examine every photo.

A smile spread to my face when i saw her sitting on the sand, facing the beautiful sunset at the beach. "Nature lover ha."

"Lily.." I dramatically clutched on my chest when someone speaks behind me. I already know who was it. "Cameron is waiting downstairs."

"Ah yeah." I turned around and come face to face with Grey. "I'm sorry just looking.." I grabbed my phone and checked on it. Like i expected there were so many messages and miss called from my parents, of course Leslie.

"What happened to you last night?" Grey asked as we are going to the dinning room. "You passed out."

This is the first time that i got an chance to appreciate the beauty of Williams's enormous house. The ceiling is high with a huge chandelier in the living room, even the staircase is covered of red carpet as if im in a fairy tale.

My face grew hot in embarrassment. "I was f****d up."

"Don't say that." Grey said with a comforting voice. "Cameron told me what Aerin did to you and i honestly don't like it. She put you in trouble. What if something happens to you? What if those assholes rape you?" The muscles of his face tightened. "I don't care if he used me to hide her feelings for Cameron but what she did to you is completely unacceptable."

If the twins confront Aerin, the Queen Bee will gets mad at me even more. But if they do not do that, Aerin thinks that everything she does is okay. I honestly don't know where to stand in this situation, it's so complicated.

"Let's eat.." Cameron invited us.

My stomach growled by the sight of the food on the table because i have not eaten since last night. We silently sat down and eat. There's an occasional question and conversation but the rest of the breakfast went well. Cameron decided to drop me off since i don't have a car.

"I'm really sorry Lily." Cameron apologized when we parked the car in front of our house. "If I only knew this would happen— Aerin is such.."

"Cameron.." I cut her off. I do not want them fight because they are still friends after. "I don't blame anyone.." But she don't look satisfy of my answer. I saw my mother opened the door and waited for me outside. "I have to go—" Cameron gripped at my hand before i could even move. "What—" I was shock when she grabbed my face and gently pressed her lips against mine. It took me a few seconds to react but let my emotions control me. I kissed her back softly with stagnant feeling in my chest.

We painfully pulled away and Cameron smile as she tucked the loose hair behind my ear. "Your mother is waiting."

The look of my mother's face the moment she let me inside our house is terrifying. I can't even look straight at her because im scared of what she is going to tell me. Though i know that mother is always compose but this is the first time that happened so i don't really know what to do. Mother motioned me to sit down in the couch as she stood in front of me.

"Okay Elizabeth." Mother breath in deeply but her frown deepened. "I will give you a chance to explain yourself."

My fist balled. How could i tell her that Aerin spiked my drink? Knowing my mother she is very protective of me. Should i tell her the truth?

"I'm sorry." I started off. "After the cheerdance competition, Cameron invited us in her house for a victory party." Mother is listening very eagery. "Then.." I squinted my eyes trying to find the next words to say. "We just talked and forgot the time. They don't let me go because it was pretty late."

"They? Who are they?" Mother questioned.

I felt the sweats strolled down my cheek. "Cameron, Grey and Leslie.."

"Are you tellig me the truth?" She questioned.

I summoned all my power to look at her. Just to show mom that im telling the truth, well. Half truth and lies. "Yes mom."

This time mother crossed her arms, she still looking suspiciously at me. "You should have text or call us so we did not worry. Especially your father stay up the whole night waiting for you."

I lowered my eyes in guilt."I'm sorry. I promise this won't happen again."

"Better be." Mother's hands fell on her sides with a sigh. "You are our only child Lily, we care for you, we love you more than anything or more to anyone. So please always consider what we feel when something happens to you." I felt my tears started to pool in my eyes. "Yes we know that you'll be 18 next week but that does not mean you will be irresponsible."

I quickly swiped the tears fell in my cheeks. "I know mom..."

"This is the first time but make sure the last time either Elizabeth." Her voice softened. "You are grounded. No cellphone, no laptop or any gadgets." I have no problem with no phone or laptop because i have plenty of books waiting for me or watch new tv series on Netflix. "Go to your room."

I stayed in my room the whole day, i made myself busy by watching Clexa. Trust me, it was so good. But there were times my mind drifted off somewhere else, think about what happened last night, about the kiss between Cameron and I this morning and of course Leslie. I feel bad that i have never had an opportunity to apologize to her since i don't have phone or anything.

A knock at the door pulled me out of my trance, after a second it opened. Father peek his head with a smile on his face. I'm happy though because he is not mad at me like mom.

"Hey can i come in?" He asked.

I sat up in my bed. "Of course dad."

Father slowly opened my bedroom's door and came in, his hands were hidden behind him. "How was the party?"

"Mm it was okay." I looked at him. "I'm sorry about last night."

Father stood just few steps away from me. "I wouldn't say it was okay Lily. We got really worried. I don't know who to call and ask if you are okay." There is no frustration in his voice. "Just don't do that next time okay." His smile is back and take a step towards me. "Anyway, i have something to give you since you are grounded."

It makes me smile. "What it is?"

"Close your eyes." He told me. I did what said. "I will count to three."

"Okay," I took a deep breath. "One," There is no other noise. "Two.." I felt something is walking on my bed. "Three.." Right on cue, i opened up my eyes and saw a black and white tiny kitten scratching my cover. "Oh my gosh!"

"I saw him on the street going to work." Father explained. "He is so tiny," I scoops the kitten in my arms and caressed his whisker. "I can't just leave him."

"I'm glad you brought you him home." I whispered. The kitten is biting my shirt. "Okay, i will name her.. Tom!"

"Nice name," Father agreed. "Tom will accompany you for now since you are grounded." He chuckled then father stopped as if he misses something. "Damn it, i forgot that im cooking!"

I just shook my head while laughing. Father left, i mean run downstairs to save his cooking. Tom jumped out of my bed and walked around the floor as i return my attention back to the TV. Not so long ago there was a knock on my door again.

"Dad, how was your—" I was suprised when i saw someone standing at my door. "Leslie? What are you doing here?"

The beautiful Leslie Heart smile as she walked inside my room. "I'm sorry if i came here unannounced." She stood next to my bed. I noticed that there's dark circles around her eyes. "But i really came here to see you and check if you are okay after what happened last night." Leslie lowered her hand. "I'm really sorry if—"

"Leslie.." I cut her off. I'm honestly tired of saying and hearing sorry for today. "It's not your fault okay,"

She just stood there. "But still i felt bad you know." Leslie took a shakily breath. "Because if something bad happen to you. I was the one to blame."

"Sshhh." I put my finger on my lips. "Just come here Leslie." Then i pat my bed next to me. "Let's—"

"Oka—ahhhh!" Leslie screamed as she quickly jumped on me in the bed. "A cat!!" Her face is so pale like as if she had seen a ghost. Tom tried to crawl in my bed but he keeps falling. "Oh gosh i don't like pu-cat.." She must really frighten because Leslie's body is shaking in fear. "Go away!"

I bit my lower lip hard to prevent myself from smiling and laugh. Gosh, i didn't know that they are people who scared of cats. "He is just a kitten Leslie, he won't bit or anything."

From Tom, Leslie slowly shifted her attention to me. By this time, she maybe realize that she is sitting on my lap and my arm looped around her waist to support her balance. Our face blushed but we didn't move a finger, our breath become shallow and the only sound you can hear is the meow from Tom.

I felt so lost in her eyes, it gives me comfort and security. My eyes went down her red lips, they look so inviting. What would be it taste like? Does it taste like a cotton candy that will melt in my mouth?

"Yo-you can kiss me Lily." Leslie whispered really lowly. I almost couldn't hear it.

How does she know that i wanted to taste her lips? Can she read my mind? Oh f**k that! Without saying anything, i gently pressed my lips against Leslie. My stomach scrunched for some odd reason. She sneaked her arms around my neck and our mouths moved in sync with our tongues fight for the dominance. Like i expected, she tasted so much better, more than cotton candy or anything sweet on Earth.

In my 17 years existance here on Earth, i never kiss anyone. I mean the who initiate but tonight i did it with Leslie.
