CHAPTER 4. Love At First Sight

After Marnie and Dr. Michael Co bumped yesterday, Marnie knew that the first time she set her eyes on Dr. Michael Co's face, she did fall in love.

She had love at first sight with this handsome doctor in front of her. The warmth of Dr. Co's touch towards her body when she was about to fall them made her shiver and electrocuted.

She doesn't felt anything like this before. It's quite so magical and everything seemed new to her.

It added factor when the doctor helped her rise up and picked up her scattered things on the floor. Dr. Co helped her and whew what a feeling she had. She felt that she loved this doctor already.

Marnie giggled when Dr. Co invited her last night to have dinner together. For her, this was one of the most precious and memorable moments of her time. Her first-ever date with her first love.

He even insisted to send her home that night. Marnie felt so much blessed yesterday.

And as she was still daydreaming about the doctor, her mobile phone suddenly rang...

Ring., Ring...

She saw her mother's name on the screen, "Oh my Mama Tiger is calling once again," she screamed aloud.

"Hello Mom," she answered her mobile phone then. Even though she doesn't want to answer it, she quite missed her mother's voice so much.

She is stubborn especially with her mother yet she had been spoiled by her mother with all the things she needs and she appreciated it so much.

Her mother might not be showy and expressive with her love for her but then she knew that her mother loves her so much.

Upon answering her mobile phone, she almost put it about 6 inches away from her ears as her mother nagged her a lot.

"Haaah! At last, you've answered my call, Marnie!" Mrs. Castello yelled at her daughter over the phone. She's so pissed as her daughter used to ignore her calls and messages all the time since she run away from her.

"Mom I love you. I'm just a bit busy here," Marnie knew that she already pissed off her mother. She smiled while making some excuses to her mother. She can picture out right now how her mother looked while yelling at her. She used and immune to it already.

Mrs. Castello controlled her temper. Every time her daughter said I love you to her, she used to be calm. Marnie was her only daughter and even if she's too stubborn, she loves her daughter so much. She's too protective of Marnie because she wanted all the best for her.

"Can you go home this weekend? We haven't had our family dinner complete since you run away of course with your Dad's consent, hmmph," Mrs. Castello told her. She missed her daughter so much. She's a bit angry with Mr. Castello after she knew that he was also Marnie's accomplish when she run away from her. She knew her husband can't say no to their daughter.

"I'll try Mom. I still have a Round Table Discussion with my core doctors this weekend," she said.

Mrs. Castello was a bit offended. Before Marnie never disobeyed her but now she used to beg for her to go home. She doesn't even know how to travel to Manila alone. She should always be accompanied by Mr. Castello then. She doesn't even know how to drive or commute.

"HHmmm Next time you will be needing your allowance, don't ever ask from me okay," Mrs. Castello can't hide her disappointment from her daughter anymore.

"Mom, I'll go home after my activity okay. I love you Mom," Marnie knew how to make her mother change her mood. She can't stand it also that her mother is being disappointed with her.

After so much talking and nags from her mother, at last, their conversation ended.

Marnie came back to her daydreaming.

She had her love at first sight with Doctor Michael Co. He was the first male who attracted her well. She had never been in love since she became an adult. She had crushed but she never had a boyfriend. It wasn't her priority that time. She wanted to graduate with Latin honors and so she did.

But now, it's different. The moment she set her eyes on conductor Michael Co's last night during their dinner, she felt something different. Her world trembles and her heart beats so fast. She knew that she loved him already. He is her first love already.

She started to stalk Doctor Michael Co's f*******: and i********:.

"Hmmmn, no girlfriend declared. Meaning he's still single. Only son of two prominent doctors as well. Hmmm, it will be difficult then," she was almost talking to herself while browsing the data and whereabouts of Doctor Michael Co.

She screenshots all the important details from Doctor Michael and she even saved the majority of his photos and saved them from her folder under the file name of My First Love.

She fixed all her samples and marketing materials to be brought to her fieldwork tomorrow. She has a lot of samples to prepare as she will be visiting her core pediatricians, internal medicine doctors, and resident doctors. She is quite organized with her portfolio as she needed to submit all her reports for the week on the following Monday.

She was so happy and inspired while doing and preparing her things.

When she was about to go to her bed, she opened the folder on her mobile phone and looked at Doctor Michael's photo. "Good night Doc, mwah," she said before she kissed the screen on her phone.

She smiled while embracing her big pillow, thinking of Doctor Michael's face in front of her.

"Lord I prayed to meet Doctor Michael tonight," she prayed, smiled, and closed her eyes.

As she was fast asleep, on the other hand, Doctor Michael can't find comfort to sleep. He was thinking of Marnie's beautiful face. He smiled thinking about how he saw that she was about to fall and he almost run to reach her before she touched the floor.

Her body was so soft and light. She was just a petit young lady. He almost thought that she was just a grade school girl at that time if she hasn't introduced herself as a newbie Professional Medical Representative yesterday. He called his secretary to help her since he saw how her heels broke out.

He started to walk through his minibar and drink some red wine to help him sleep.

She seemed to be different.
