Axel POV-
It’s been 3 months since I rejected my mate and it feels like something is not right. I wanted so bad to look for her I mean why am I still filling the mate bond shouldn’t it be gone. I’m suppose to feel pain or at least that’s what I’ve heard. Sometimes when I’m walking towards football practice I get her scent, it gives me strength. When I don’t get to smell her I fail at practice. I can’t continue like this I have to figure out a way to get better. Xavier hasn’t talked to me since that day, last week when I was in my wolf form I notice something. My wolfs fur doesn’t shine anymore, my father notice too. He said my wolf was depressed and that it was normal for a wolf to feel down after not finding his mate. Nobody know about me rejecting my mate, my father believes it should be illegal to reject a mate.
Aria POV-
“Look I’m sorry Catherine I know we are not friends but I think you are in danger” she looked at me like I grew another head, I mentally slapped me. “Catherine I believe that you are about to go into heat, why don’t you stay here and I’ll go find your mate.” I turn to walk away but she stopped me. “No please don’t....... I’m not ready for this please...... please help me get out of school undetected.” “Fine.... mmmm... ok I got it I will pull the fire alarm that will get everyone out of school, then we make a run for it thru the back.” She smiles at me hopefully this will work, so a headed out of the class. I found a fire alarm and pulled it What I didn’t know was that someone had seen me do it. I went back to Catherine and we headed to my pack land. Once there I took her thru the forest I have a big nice tree house. Once there she went in the house, she looked around in awe. It is pretty nice I mean I have a twin mattress a small battery tv a cooler which I always have will with ice, water bottles, sodas and juice cans. The house has a small door and a small window with a curtain. “Here I have blankets in case you have get cold which I don’t think it will happen, I will be coming night and mornings to leave you food, remember no one can find out you are here or I will get in trouble.” “Wait... Aria.. ammm well thank you.” “It’s no problem” I smiled at her I was about to go but she started talking. “I’m sorry Aria, you know you are the best girl at sports and you are human so when you were in my gym class I was I cry to see that you were better than me, and here you are helping me.” “It’s ok Catherine it always happen in every school I used to go to, can I ask why don’t you just go thru the mating process and stop the future pain you’ll go thru.?” “I can’t I love Nate but I’m too young, now can I ask you how is it that you know about werewolves? I mean it weird that a human knows so much.” “If I tell you will you keep it a secret?” She giggled and then raised her right hand “I promise” ok then I told her everything I mean everything including how his alpha try to reject me. “I can’t believe this you are out Luna and future alpha of the white howls? Wow girl you got big things going on, since I know everything I think this makes us friends.” Friends? Really she would be my first friend at this school.
