The union of her brother Tiger and princess Senere was settled. Moon, however, did not return to her usual back. Away was the life, the joy, the happiness in her eyes. She seemed distracted, thinking of something that she would never share. She was not talking to anyone either. Her brothers managed to fuel Kaion's gate while she kept him in the forest away from the capital, so they can do the work. The moment the stone was away from the portal, however, the gate was closing it's energy field. Only Moon could open it with her bracelet.

They were already preparing some troops, to prepare the Union between the Crown Prince and the coronation of the Crown Princess, when Kaion did not take things too well and tried to reach Senere, but his sister did not want to see him. So he was sent back into the Academy, where he went freely and highly motivated to work on opening the gate, as he realized he had no more reason to stay in this world. His sister was already lost to him and he did not want to accept that.

But being angry would not help his concentration. He could not get the right formula to open the force field of the gate, that would allow him passage. They did try countless times. While working around the gate, Moon would know better than keep her bracelet on. She did not want Kaion to know she could fuel the gate by herself.

While Kaion was just cursing internally and trying different combinations of runes, the portal would not load the energy needed to open. The Lords of the Sun house would come and go, days would come and go. Kaion was trying, and he would not give up. He needed to go back home. Moon was there with him most of the times, distracting him.

Moon, right behind him, was insisting there was a pattern which he could not see. He could not even see the young lady in front of him. He did not feel right for the way he aced towards her. And she did not seem too happy about being in his presence, which was making him uncomfortable. She was not a bad woman, and he really did not want to imply anything and speak as he spoke, but he was mad at that time. And she looked like she was hurt right now, because ever since that day in the forest with him, she was cold and very distant towards him.

And to his surprise, it was hurting him. Why? He was asking himself n vain because he could not find the answer. And not that he had time to look for it! He needed to concentrate on finding the right rune formula to go back home and this was not letting him focus. Her eyes... the taste of her lips... They were divine indeed.

They were trying for days to find the pattern. But then, it just happened!!

When the portal opened, Moon was laughing, and her face was shining so beautifully. She was looking at him and she seemed so happy, she was right!! They did it; they found the right sequence.... they found the pattern... the magic of the portals opened and it filed the gate that Kaion had built between the worlds...

There were magic sparks everywhere around her, and Kaion was just mesmerized, looking at her, like an i***t, instead of jumping through it. He just wanted to go home, but this damn female was keeping him here... for what? He was the next king to be... and she was holding him here...

Kaion's heart tightened, and he looked at her. In one split second, he just grabbed her hand so tight, and he just pulled her towards him. What was he doing, she thought. He was trying to protect her with his body in some kind of embrace? And he jumped right into the portal without thinking. And he dragged her with him along!

He felt her stiffen; he felt her body tensing, and he saw her eyes, getting big and bigger... her look... her expression. Freezing feelings... She breathed in and did not stop looking at him in shock. She could not believe it, what did he do? What did he do to her? Why would he do it?

The journey was the same for him; he had been through it once more; it was short, troubling, the spatio temporal spirals baffling them both and the tunnel spitting them both out at once, throwing them on his lands.

Rolling on the ground, they broke up, and they rolled over a few times between the bushes, until they could stop and pull themselves together.

He raised first, looking at her, letting her adjust the temperature.

It was hotter than in her world; she needed time to adjust.

She was struggling to breathe, and she was scared, surprised, and confused. How could he do that to her? Why did he do that? How did she not think about it? She let her guard down and look at what he did! She was scared... This was not her world!

Could she go back? How can she go back? Now it was the moment, but the portal closed!!!

If he would see her fueling the gate, he would take her bracelet, so she did not try anything at first. But she could speak her mind...

-What did you do?

She looked at him, raising on her feet. He just stood there, still, looking at her, with a little shade of shame in his eyes.

-WHAT DID YOU DO??

She was so angry, that she could just release her saruman demon right in that instant and smash him down like dirt; she headed towards him, hitting him right in his face with her punch, only after that realizing that she did that right in front of the Zicon guards and some people present.

Damn! she hit hard, he thought, and he felt the burn on his jaw, throwing his head in one side... He did nothing in response though. He liked her.

The patrols getting closer stopped stunned. A female hitting a man?? Hitting the Royal Blood?? A female??

-Your Highness!?

They got closer and pointed their weapons towards the female, not really convinced that she was a danger, but just in case, because in their world women were not warriors ... and as the prince had disappeared for so long ... they did not know what to believe ... nor what to do ... The guards were responsible for the Crown Prince now, as he had been found and they would probably be rewarded for bringing him safely into the castle.

-Your Highness...you are...

-How could you???

The female interrupted them yelling in front of the Crown Prince and he just stood there, doing nothing.

Again, the guards were worried, confused, and they kept quiet, not finishing their words. Who was this female beast who would behave like a while thing in front of the Crown Prince??

And he... why would he take it like this? Women do not raise their voices in front of men... What was this one doing? Was she savage??

And the Crown Prince was just... taking it like that? Why? Maybe something has happened to him? Something was really wrong with this. Maybe, she was a witch?? Then she must be imprisoned, he will of course give them an order to chain her right away, so they need to be ready to do his bidding.

The royal guards stood behind him. Kaion just looked at Moon wondering what the hell was wrong with him.

She did have a point, as he did not know what he did either; he only felt that he was to go home and just grabbed her to take her with him. Why did he do that?? Now he has this pain here, what will he do with it??

She was right to be mad about it... He was quite surprised just as well... He took her with him...

What would he do with her now?

-Take me back! she said grabbing his arm.

-What? he grabbed her arm too, and the soldiers behind him stepped up pointing their energy spears towards her.

He raised his hand, ordering them to step down, which they did.

-Take me back!! Now!!

-I can't! I don't know how! I did not open it, I just found it, remember??

She did not look happy. Who would have been, in these conditions?

-Why did you do that??

-Do not speak like that in front of... one of his men tried to interfere when Moon just hit him with a punch in his face, putting him down on his butt, making the others back down in surprise.

Kaion just smiled. He knew what she was capable of... But he also knew that what he did was wrong to her.

-I am sorry, I... can't explain what I did that. I just wanted to go home...

Kaion placed himself between the princess and his guards, in order to prevent any other "accident" to happen.

-You grabbed me! The princess yelled at him, and that he did not like. He was back in his world now, and people would not dare to scream in his face and leave unpunished after. Of course, she did not know that, she could not have, she was just a female, after all...

-I know!! He yelled at her as well, unable to control his tone. It bothered him that his lack of control just brought them into this situation. I don't know what has happened... I just wanted to go home.

-Good... now I want to go home. And you will help me do just that!!

He looked at her, thinking about it.

-We have to learn how to open them from here first. Until then... Come with me, he tried to grab her hand.

-No! She just slapped his hand, placed in front of her, for her to take.

Gasps could be heard everywhere, the soldiers in front of them did not even know how to react. That wild thing just slapped their Crown Prince? And he did not do anything? He just let it go? How come? Was he under some kind of a spell? Was she really a witch? Maybe they should inform the king as soon as possible.

-With me... or in the dungeons... just choose?

Kaion's cold voice made quite an impression on Moon. He was serious. Now, Moon just realized it, here, she was in Senere's place.

Alone, helpless, in a strange world. Where she was the enemy.

Moon was scared, even if she was trying not to show anything on her face. She knew she was a good actress, and she knew her body would not betray her showing what she really felt on the inside. She saw him in front of her, with that look on his face, he had something in his mind for sure!

He raised his hand and placed it in front of her, again, waiting for her to take it and she knew he would not settle for a no this time. He was asking her to take his hand, to trust him after what he did, and to go with him. After all that he did to her??

The only problem was that... now, she was in the same situation he was in her world.

She was of royal blood, heir to the House of Warchild, and worse... heir to the House of the Shadows Assassins. That was making her friend or foe... depending on who's side of view?
