When I wake, we load the SUV for a quick getaway. Walker and Beau grabbed breakfast sandwiches for all of us. We eat on the way to the hospital. It’s only 9 but maybe I can get in saying we need to leave earlier. The sight that greets us chills me though. Kincaid and Burton are on the lawn outside screaming at a female nurse. She is terrified and shaking. Warriors stand around and I hear Burton calling out instructions for a search and mentions Azeon. They cannot see us from this side of the hospital, and we make sure to stay hidden.
“I know nothing Alphas I swear. I checked on her at 3, she was sleeping soundly. Your warrior saw her when I opened the door. I didn’t go back in until seven and she was gone.” She sobs as Kincaid yanks her up by her hair.
