Before I can move, Theo is out the door running. He gently leads her into the conference room. “You said another rogue girl was here, Mary? When?”
Her eyes scan the room nervously. Theo says softly “You are in no trouble. We simply need information about the other rogue female. Can you describe the other girl?”
She begins hesitantly. “Yes, Beta Theo, there was a rogue female. She had ash-blonde hair and deep green eyes. Little on the thin side and appeared scared. I answered the warrior who brought her to the front door. She told me she was looking for Alpha Riley and he needed to say something to her. Something about a resolution to a problem you had, Alpha.”
