I watched him stand up and walk away, only looking at me once as he stopped by the bathroom door, love and hope shining in his eyes, but with it sadness. The warmth of his touch fading with him. You need to take a leap of faith. Is it really that simple? No, it’s not, but is he worth it? Is Archer worth taking the risk to get my heart broken beyond repair? I think back over the past few months, everything he has done for me. Every step he has taken to make my dreams come true. Not once did he expect anything in return.
