For months I have waited for him to just say those three words and it feels like my heart is just about ready to burst when he finally says it. I know a few words does not excuse his actions, but it is a step closer to trusting him again with my heart. I pull away from Jaxon and look at him, the smile on my face so big it hurts, but nothing will be able to wipe it from my face. "So is this what you wanted to tell me?" I ask him and he shakes his head, his smile fading. This can't be good.
"No, but I have been wanting to say it, I just wanted to give it time. I want you to trust me again when I say it and I know I haven't done enough to make you trust me, but I will. I just need you to give me time to prove to you that I am serious when I tell you that I am not leaving you again.
