I couldn’t believe that Layla wanted to help my charities. They mean so much to me. I grew up with a single mother because she left my abusive father. Sadly, she died at the hands of my father. She never had the chancer to get away and be safe.
That is why I want to make a safe place for women to escape these monsters that hurt them. With my security company we will make sure it’s safe. I never want any woman to have to go through what my mom went through. I couldn’t save her, but I could honor her by saving others.
Also, after what I did to Oliver, I knew I wanted to help injured fighters. Today Layla and I are sitting down talking about the safe house. We are going together to look at places. She wants to be a partner for it.
