Chapter 41
Skylar’s pov
Tia has been working for me for a few months now. She is a very hard worker, and everyone seems to like her. The guys have even started treating her better. She’s here every morning before everyone, and she is one of the last ones to leave. I was beyond happy I gave her a chance.
I have flirted with her a few times, and she flirts back. But that’s as far as it goes. I actually look forward to going to work every day just to see her. So, I was surprised when I showed up at work and Tia wasn’t here. Then again, I was early today so I didn’t worry too much.
When my crew showed up, and she still wasn’t here I began to worry. It wasn’t like Tia to not be here. I called her to see what was going on.

“Tia hey it’s Skylar I was wondering if everything is ok
