Hunter’s pov
I was so happy. CeeCee agreed to marry me, and I couldn’t be happier. I got my girl back and I thought nothing could break us a part this time. Or so I thought. That was until CeeCee’s father showed up with a man claiming he was her fiancé.
I wouldn’t be so upset except CeeCee let go of my hand and took off with her father and that guy. I was left standing here as if I meant nothing. I decided to head back to my room and wait for CeeCee.
Maybe she just needed time to talk to her dad. It just seemed like she knew the guy that her father said was her fiancée. She promised me it was nothing. Yet here I am alone. I trust her.
