Chapter 15 mate

Hope’s P.O.V

  After the celebration everyone went back to the pack house and their homes, leaving Roman and I standing there alone beneath the stars. It started out as a nerve racking night, but it ended so magically.

  “Can I kiss you?” Roman asked, breaking the silence. I thought about it for a moment, how I smelled his scent and he was so sure that I was his mate, so why not.

  “Yes.” I replied, nodding. Roman leaned in close to me and softly pressed his lips to mine, kissing me and I kissed him back. Roman leaned back up after our kiss and I touched my lips with the tips of my fingers. I felt the sparks between our lips and it felt so special.

  “Mate.” I whispered and watched as Roman’s eyes lit up.

  “I thought you would never say that.” Roman said, smiling from ear to ear. He picked me up, hugging me and I giggled as he put me back on the ground.

  “You, my love, are a beautiful tiger. Come on, I know you have had a full and eventful night, so let's get something to eat and then we can rest up. There's going to be a lot of training tomorrow.” Roman said, kissing my forehead and leading me back into the pack house.

  Alpha Cole’s P.O.V

  It has been almost four weeks since Hope ran away and I couldn't stop thinking of that night. I was so damn close to making her mine and then I would have made her do everything I desired. When I get that b***h back and I will, I’m going to lock her in with the rats and make her regret the day she left this pack. I don't know where she is and as much as she is a human I want her as my mate. She is feisty and she finally stood up for herself, but would the pack agree to me having a human mate. Well, f**k them, I am the Alpha of this pack and they will just have to deal with it. I have even more plans for her than just being my mate, I’ll make her have my kits and then I’ll kill her.

  “LOVEY!! RIPLEY!!! GET YOUR ASSES IN MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW!!” I screamed out, mind-linking them and using my Alpha tone.

  Unknown’s P.O.V

  I watched from the darkness as the feline shifted into a pure white tiger and from what I understand it takes many years for a white tiger to form, but what does this Alpha want with her? I’ve heard about this Alpha and how cruel he is, he locks rogues in the cells for the rats to feast on their flesh. I’ve heard that when a she-cat disobeyed him he threw her in a cell with a group of rogues and watched as they feasted on her, raping her over and over again before killing her, but this doesn’t look like the Alpha that I have heard so much about. Maybe he’s trying to con her, I have seen so many others do that and then when they got what they wanted they would show the other side of them. Somehow I must warn her and get her away from him, I need to figure out a way to do this. I need to figure out a way to save her from that Alpha. I need to start making plans.

  Lovey’s P.O.V

  I was in my room relaxing and it has been so quiet since Hope has been gone. A small part of me misses her, but she's human and besides she is probably dead by now. She jumped out of the window for some reason and ran into the woods, rogues have probably gotten her by now and killed her, but then again she was always weak, so good. I suddenly received a mind-link from Alpha Cole, he had been on edge ever since Hope left, but why?

  “On my way.” I replied, mind-linking back and heard as Ripley said the same thing. I ended the link and walked out of my room, bumping straight into Ripley.

  “What do you think he will want now? Ever since Hope has been gone he has been demanding more and more.” Ripley said and I yet again rolled my eyes.

  “Who the hell knows, he probably wants someone to rub his feet or massage his back, maybe he wants someone to cook him something to eat or even worse, mate with him. I saw him dragging a she-cat into his room and the poor girl could barely walk the next day, she had to go to the pack doctor.” I replied and we both shuddered at the thought of mating with him.

  “Come on, we better get this over with and see what he wants.” Ripley said and I nodded.

  Alpha Cole’s P.O.V

  I was pacing back and forth in my office when I heard a knock on my door. I stormed over to it and swung it open.

  “Well, its about f*****g time, get your asses in here.” I said and they both walked inside as I slammed the door shut, making both of them jump.

  “WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO LONG TO GET HERE?!!!” I shouted and Lovey looked up at me.

  “Well Alpha, you know your office is downstairs and we were upstairs when you called for us, so it does take us a bit to get here.” Lovey replied and I shook my head.

  “If I was you, Lovey, I would shut the hell up. Now both of you sit down.” I said and they both quickly sat down, waiting for me to speak.

  “I wanted you here in my office because I want both of you to look for Hope….” I said, but they both cut me off before I could finish.

  “WAIT, WHAT?!” Ripley and Lovey said at the same time.

  “We just got rid of that human and you want her back?” Ripley asked and I rolled my eyes.

  “Yes, I want her back. I’m going to make her my mate and have my kits, then be done with her. That's the only reason she is good for, I’m going to make her pay for running away from the pack.” I replied and the two girls looked at each other then back at me.

  “So, you can't find another mate? She's a human for crying out loud.” Lovey replied, looking outraged and disgusted with my decision.
