Rogue's P.O.V. I lay with Amni as I watched her sleep. I haven't seen her sleep with such ease in so long. I know that she is in pain and is hurt. Not just from losing the baby, but from the betrayal and pain that was caused by her mother and Ace. The only reason that I had let Ace live was the fact that he helped me find this little cottage outside of the cave and helped patch her wounds. Once I knew that Amni was in deep sleep, I quietly stepped out of the room and into the living room. Ace sat on the armrest of the couch.
