My whole body remained frozen in fear. How are they here?
What am I supposed to do now?
“Why are you so pale--” Avery registered my fear, following my eyes and putting one and two together. “Don't tell me they are--”
“Werewolves.” I completed for her, not surprise at the curiosity that first entered her eyes and then finally, fear then, panic.
She suddenly grabbed my hand tight. “What are we going to do now?”
“Act like we didn't notice them.” I told her. I doubt they will attack us in a public space like this.
Oops. I was wrong.
A sudden screech of a chair being dragged almost made me jump out of mine. My heart was racing madly and my mind was working out the ways we can escape from here unharmed.
