Chapter 8: New Promises

Chapter 8: New Promises Allen finished his shower, toweled off and crawled into bed, quickly falling asleep. To his surprise, he woke sometime later to Bill slipping into bed with him. “Bill?” “Who else would it be?” He asked as he settled in. “I just...one more night, you know?” Allen nodded and rolled over, resting his head on Bill’s chest and falling asleep again in the comfort of his arms. The next time Allen woke, the alarm clock told him it was nearly time to get up. Bill was still asleep this time. Allen ran a hand down his chest and down to his c**k, finding him half- hard. Smiling, Allen scooted down the bed and kissed Bill’s c**k through his underwear. Bill muttered in his sleep, but made no move to stop him. Allen tugged down his pants just enough to free his c**k to the night air. Licking his lips, Allen leaned in and wrapped his mouth around Bill’s c**k. “Allen?” asked Bill a moment later, hand going to the back of his head, not pushing, but not pulling him off either. Raising his head, Allen met Bill’s eyes in the dark. “Who else would it be?” Bill chuckled. “Well, when you put it that way...” He nudged Allen’s head back down. Allen used his tongue and his mouth, focusing on the head of Bill’s c**k. “Good,” murmured Bill. He gave Allen direction, guiding him between the soft moans breaking from his lips. It made Allen happy to know that he was the causing them. Bill stopped him after a couple minutes. “I know your jaw is getting sore,” he said, pulling Allen up and kissing him. He wrapped his hand around both of their c***s. “Practice makes perfect?” asked Allen against his lips. “Oh, I can give you plenty of practice; you just make sure your Boss accepts my contract.” It was like ice water dumped over his head. Allen pulled back. “You’re not doing this just because of that, are you?” Bill blinked. “No, no! I’m sorry. It was a joke, Allen, that’s all. I just want to see you again. I want you to talk to your Boss and give him your honest assessment. I want you to read the contract when I present it and make sure that it’s fair. That’s got nothing to do with the s*x. Allen let out a breath and kissed him. “Okay. Conflict of interest, you know? I have to do what’s right by my Boss and this land first.” “I solemnly swear that I did not sleep with you just to get this contract,” said Bill, taking up both their c***s again. “But you are handsome, and confident, and strong, and got those beautiful brown eyes. Hard to resist, that’s why this happened.” “Okay,” said Allen. “Okay. Sorry, I just...” “No, no, it’s okay to be cautious. I’m sorry I said it.” Allen kissed him again, moving on top of him and thrusting against him. They lapsed into silence, kissing slowly, breathing in each other’s air. Allen relaxed again. He did believe Bill. He had plenty going for him; he didn’t need to seduce anyone to get a job. Bill soothed his free hand down Allen’s back. Bill opened his mouth to him, letting Allen take control of the situation. Allen moved a little faster, thrust a little harder, until they both spilled over Bill’s hand. Allen reached over and shut down the alarm clock before it could go off. “Thanks,” he said, kissing Bill’s forehead. Bill smiled up at him. “I should be thanking you.” Allen shrugged and kissed him again. “I’ll go make coffee and breakfast.” He started to get up and Bill caught his hand. “Would it make you feel better if I didn’t offer a contract, if you told your Boss that the timber wouldn’t make enough to be worth the effort? Or that it would be a good sale, but I don’t have the time in my calendar for it? I’ll walk away from this job in a heartbeat if that’s what you need me to do to prove that I didn’t sleep with you just for some advantage.” Allen leaned in and kissed him softly. “I believe you. And I know your company will do right by my Boss. Let’s just... slow it down, maybe?” “All right,” said Bill, kissing him one more time. “I’ll meet you downstairs. Might as well take care of the horses one more time before I go.” “I’m sure Harvey will like it.” Allen stood and reached for his pants. “And Bill? I’ve enjoyed myself, despite getting tossed in a creek.” Bill met his eyes. “I did too. And I look forward to a long future together, whether it’s as friends, colleagues or...anything else, okay?” “I know. And I do too.” Allen headed downstairs to get the coffee going. He knew Bill was telling the truth. And as he watched the sun crest the horizon, it felt like he was watching the sun rise at a new life, a new possibility that hadn’t been there before.
