I paced around the living room waiting for everyone else to show up, I was no longer concerned about the time but more so with what Athea told us. None of our futures are guaranteed anymore and that is a huge problem. "I've brought some drinks and snacks." Courtney said walking in with a tray full of stuff. "Oh, thank you. Why don't you get some rest." I said with a small smile. I guess I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize she was even awake.
