Aleksa POV Mason stared into the rear-view mirror, looking at the car behind us. “I could be overreacting. We aren’t necessarily being followed, but we can’t take any chances,” Mason told us. “Just keep looking ahead, act normal, and let’s hope for the best.” He kept driving the car at the same pace.
