Mike stared at Beth with so much disgust on his face and it made her extremely uncomfortable. "Don't stare at me as if I'm a monster Mike. I made a mistake, yes, but I genuinely regret it and I never wanted Ella to be in harm's way" As Beth spoke, more tears seeped from the corners of her eyes.
Mike clapped for her and said, " Wow! Very impressive Beth. You never wanted anything bad to happen to Ella yet you sent her to the Will N Club. Please stop beating around the bush and answer my question. I want to know what your best friend must have done to deserve what you did to her."
