Morning came quicker than Ella had hoped. When she woke up from sleep, she realized that Melvin was still lying beside her. She turned her body and stared at him. Why did she have to wake up to him by her side today when she really needed him gone?
She wished she could say goodbye to him but that wasn't going to be possible as she would only end up giving herself away. Melvin woke up and realized that Ella was already awake. He told her about his plans for the day and asked that they shower together.
