Jessie’s POV
Jamie’s room was dark when I woke up. Most of the candles had burnt out. I kept still because Jamie was asleep, resting on me. She looked so beautiful, so peaceful. Her mark had a silvery glow to it. I smiled to myself. She was all mine now, officially. Her engagement ring sparkled on her hand. I couldn’t wait to marry her and take her back to the Gold Manor.
She stirred, sighing happily in her sleep, a little smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. No nightmares tonight. I smirked to myself.
