Those bow— he did it like he is giving her the greetings —, those smirk , those smile that any woman can drool over. Athena swear, she's dying slowly inside with human-being. Damn it!
And she’s here thinking, she's now a stupid human who forgot the promise she did to herself that starting today...
Darn! How can I tho??!
This Montoya is damn pure gorgeous. She noticed that only at this very moment that she woke up and he's here beside her, staring at her while sitting comfortably at the chair beside her bed, if where he took it, that's definitely out of her knowledge.
If how he entered, she doesn't have any idea. See? He has this kind of behavior she doesn't know at all.
It's like.. Is he even human?! Thinking how the heck he can just invite himself in while she did her best to check out all the doors last night?
"Hi beautiful" Pierre's voice was so deep that made her shiver. Truly, the sexy voice of this creature is giving her a heart attack! Kalma bez.. Kalma ka lang. Pakiusap niya sa sarili
"Paano ka naka pasok?" aniya sa malat na boses.
And when Pierre bit his bottom lip, Athena lost it and didn't even blink.
But that first shot of his smirk irked her nerves. He looked so disgusted at whatever he was looking at. And she just walk-up for heaven's sake! So, a woman is always a woman. Her blood boil and frown " Are you disgusted at something? My face, maybe?" kunot noo niyang sabi sa lalaki pero hindi naman siya ang abalang damhin ang kanyang mukha.
Oily na kung oily. Muta na kung muta..She doesn't care at all. If this man like her as a woman, he will be able to embrace her flaws, mapa ugali man o pagmumukha.
"Yeah. I said hi beautiful. But you asked how did I enter? Seriously baby?"
As usual, Pierre rolled his eyes.
Athena literally mouth dropped for his tone. It's like he's so piss on that matters, then she started giggling that made Pierre pouted and snorted.
Damn this man for being so hot!!
" What? " Pierre's eyes narrowed as he is trying to not smile because hell, his baby is making his heart not working again.
And it so unfair from his side that simple giggles, smiles and laugh from her will vanish every pissed he's feeling in.
Athena stopped and look directly to Pierre's eyes "May itinatago ka pa lang ka-cute tan? I mean, ang cute mo lang mag tampo"
Pierre pressed his lips together, Athena who was totally oblivious with Pierre's feelings right now just get up but it was a wrong move because Pierre grabbed her and pulled her to his lap, embracing he waist as she is now sitting over his lap.
"I'm sorry about yesterday baby. Ang mga pinsan mong baliw , ikinulong ako sa bahay ko. You see, when they get me like that, they will not going to stop 'till i crawl dahil sa kalasingan" he planted kiss on her forehead that made Athena smile in silent.
"Do you know that I prayed so hard that you call me that moment? Pero syempre, sino ba naman ako para tawagan mo' diba?"
Athena can hear pain in his voice. Nakonsensya naman tuloy siya kaya ang ginawa niya ay niyakap niya ito sa balakang at pinagsalikop ang mga daliri sa likuran nuto, making Pierre's suck his breath, but because Athena is oblivious on that, she smiled at him.
Pierre lost. Totally lost!
"Ok lang 'yon,at tsaka' yung mga pinsan kong 'yon, hindi ka talaga maka tatakas sa mga' yon, kahit pa tawagan kita"
Athena widened her smile, Pierre's heart stop.
"Are you... Trying to kill me Marie?" Pierre's breathing became rugged that made Athena frown.
Nodding and smirking, "Kill you?" umakto siyang nag iisip"You gave me an idea" aniya saka tumayo and dragged Pierre outside the room "Go down and make this killer a delicious breakfast" aniya saka isinarado ang pinto at nagtuloy tuloy sa banyo.

After Athena finished fixing herself, bumaba na siya, nakasuot lang siya spaghetti strap white top at dark red cotton shorts and made her curly hair in messy bun, just like that, she didn't even comb her hair to begin with, kaya nga messier than usual e.
Nang makababa ay dumiretso siya sa kusina para mag timpla sana ng kape, only to be shocked by the scenery there, Pierre being pinned by her father on the wall!
Damn it! "D-dad!" halos walang lumabas na boses sa lalamunan niya habang nanginginig ang mga kamay.
"What is the meaning of this Athena Marie Silvestre Bautista?!"

His father's —Don Reynaldo—voice filled up the whole house. Pulang pula ang mukha nito habang hawak ang neckline ng t-shirt ni Pierre.

What?! Athena wanted to defend her self but she doesn't know how! And it's pissing her off that made her shaking inside.
"I'm so sorry sir. Ahm.."
"Serve that sorry for the rest of your life young man. Just for clarification, I want to ask you something" Athena's father straightened his face, pressed his lips together and hold his dark gaze to Pierre "Listen carefully and attentively. Once na magka mali ka, pagsisisihan mo na 'yan sa tanang buhay mo"
Pierre nodded "Yes sir"
"Are you Athena's boyfriend?"
"Yuph"
"Since when?"
"A year sir"
"Are you going to marry her then?"
No.. Please say noooo!!
But of course, Pierre couldn't hear what she’s saying on her mind and he didn't even look at her. She prayed and ask for miracle, but that miracle isn't for people who ask it suddenly.
Sabi nga ng iba, may mga pagkakataon na saka mo lang magawang maging tanga kapag ang kaharap mo ay dalawang lalaking mahalaga sa buhay mo.
But for the record, Pierre is not her boyfriend. Mahalaga? She's not sure.
"More than willing sir"
Athena who was just standing suddenly fall down to the chair. Oh God's Grace!! Mabuti na lang at mabilis na may umalalay sa likuran niya. "You okay?"
Kung hindi siya nagkaka mali, it was her mother's voice. But her wolrd started spinning, her eyes went heavy for the words that she kept on hearing.
"When is the wedding?" it was her father.
"Kahit ngayon, I can do it" matatag na sabi ni Pierre.
Athena wanted to say something, but the moment she opened her mouth, there's no words but moan of suffering that came out. Then she lost consciousness.
Pierre is just staring at Athena. If what he said was the reason kung bakit ito nawalan ng malay, he couldn't do anything about it. What he said was already said and he will not take it back no matter what.
No way in hell I will do that! He smirk.
This is it, his ultimate dream. Tanga na lang siya kapag aatras at bibitaw pa siya. Kung matatawag siyang selfish, he is happy to be selfish, just now.
Yeah. Just for now, he will be that selfish.
"Montoya" napatingin siya sa dalaga. She's here in the hospital, because he carried her a while ago to bring here.
Hindi na nga niya nahintay ang mga magulang nito dahil sa pagka taranta e. Basta na lang niyang inilabas ang dalaga sa bahay nito, walang lingong-likod, nothing in his mind that moment but Athena's safety.
"Yes baby?" aniya saka hinaplos ang mukha ng dalaga.
Athena know that anything she say will not be hear by her parents, most specially her father.
He's the king, the judge and the law in their household. Whatever he says, no one will ever dare to disobey him.
Yeah, he's a good father, he's the best, he's cool and down to earth but once he opened his mouth and talk about something, it was already considered as done.
"Sorry to drag you into this Pierre. If only I know that they come, hindi sana kita pinababa. Marrying me is not the only way Pierre –"
"—I'm willing baby. Don't mention it. Hindi ako aatras" Nakangiting sabi ng lalaki.
But Athena took it negatively. Not knowing Pierre's happiness inside his heart. For her, napipilitan lang ito dahil sa magulang niya.
Dahil galit na galit ang ama niya at kamuntikan na siya nitong mapuruhan kanina.
"Does it hurt ?" Athena is looking at Pierre's face, puno iyon ng galos. Parang may namuo pang dugo sa gilid ng mata nito.
Athena who was just wanted to asked Pierre how he feels doesn't know that her eyes is now flowing, "I'm so sorry.. Sorry Pierre —"
"—f**k baby! Stop crying okay? I'm fine. It hurts but that doesn't mean that I'm not okay. If being beaten like this in lieu of marrying you, I'm willing to accept the pain baby"
Athena sob. Pierre dried her tears, instead of stopping, it fell like a water falls.
Natatawang pinupunasan ni Pierre ang mukha ng dalaga habang naka labi naman ito.
"Ang cute mong umiyak" anang lalaki, he gained sharp gaze after that.
"Pwede ka namang umatras. Tumakas ka na lang kaya?" anang Athena.
Pierre stare at Athena. His lips pressed together and his eyes are in deep thoughts. "Ayaw mo akong pakasalan? Bakit parang ipinag tatabuyan mo na naman ako? I'm not that Pierre whom you told years ago to set my goal and make my self a millionaire by my own Athena.
I'm not that kid anymore. If you don't want to marry me, just tell me." nagkibit balikat ito saka lumabi" Hindi naman kita papayagan, akala mo ba makaka takas ka sa akin? No way in hell! "
Athena sighed. Not too much paying attention to what Pierre is talking " so, what set-up we will have then? "
Wala namang mangyayari kahit pa ipag pilitan niyang walang kasal na mangyayari. Pierre already told his father those things. At hindi na 'yon mababago pa.
In her book, there's divorce, if she will have the strength to tell her parents to have the wedding in the country where the can have divorce, then she will have it the sooner. There's annulment too. So better yet, just go with the flow.
Nagkatikiman naman na sila, kaya wala naman sigurong problema pa.
"Nothing, just normal. Just be you well of course, except for the fact that you will carry my name, that's all"
Yeah right.. Athena sighed.
Pierre and Athena left the hospital after they finished all of the things that they needed to fix.
Pierre drive his own car—which he used to brought Athena to the hospital—Athena was silent, he just let her be, he drive and went home.
"You okay?" Pierre ask Athena, kasi parang ang lalim ng iniisip nito. Nasa harap na sila ng bahay nito pero naka tulala lang.
"Baby?" ulit niya.
Athena sighed "Are you sure about this Montoya? Hindi ka ba na-black magic lang ng tatay ko? O baka naman natakot ka lang laya ka nagsalita ng kung ano-ano? Wait.. You told him I'm your girlfriend right?!"
Pierre nodded "uh-huh"
"Bakit?"
Shrugging of shoulder and tugging up of lips "Are you not?" Pierre said while looking at Athena.
Nakaka aliw kasi itong pagmasdan, tila nakikipag usap sa sarili habang ang ulo nito ay bahagya pang gumalaw galaw, she's frowning too but not looking at him.
"Well, we had s*x and.. Why? .. Am I considered your girlfriend just because we had sexy time already?" doon ito lumingon sa kanya.
Humagalpak ng tawa si Pierre na inirapan naman ng babae.
"Listen carefully baby, if s*x is the reason why boys fall into marriage, then in this world, there's no reason for us to have prostitution already. If being afraid is the reason why guys marrying, then, in this life, there's no single mothers already. Do you understand that hmm? " hinaplos nito ang mukha gamit ang isang kamay habang ang isa ay naka patong sa manibela ng sasakyan" I will marry you because I want to, not because I'm threatened.. Okay? "
Pierre wanted to tell her he loves her, but he knew this woman, she's not easy to deal with. She has the way of thinking, a very special way that not everybody has.

"Let's go?" anang Athena. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ng binata, pero nang magsimula siyang maglakad, napakunot noo siya ng hindi niya mahila ang binata.
Napanganga siya ng lingunin niya ito "What are you doing?" nangingiti niyang sambit.
Pierre is just standing, literally jaw dropped and blinking numerous times then he talked but his eyes are not on her, preferably on the air.. "Baby... I think.. I'm —s**t!"
Natatawa si Athena sa itsura ng binata, she's a tease, so she lifted her foot and gave him a smack kiss on his lips.
Pierre groan.
Damn baby! You'll be the death of me!!
