The next morning when she opened her eyes, she didn’t see Austin Gray. She thought he might leave as usual. It was good for her as long as he was not around. She didn’t want to face him. Whenever he came, he only tortured her like a beast. She slowly got off the bed and went to the bathroom for a shower. After a long shower when she came out, she saw breakfast served already and the door was closed as usual.

After finished eating, she stood near the glass window and looked outside. These days it had become her habit. She had nothing to do other than looking outside through this window. Occasionally she saw some guards and some maids around the courtyard. This might be the backside of the villa. The boundary wall was very high. There was a small garden in one corner of the courtyard where different types of flowers were blooming. She kept looking through the window. This was the only thing to pass her time.

While she was looking outside, she heard some commotions. The noise was coming from outside the door, might be from downstairs. From the view outside, she guessed she was on the first floor. She heard a female voice “I want to see that b***h. Where is she? Let me in.”

Emily Gray walked to the door to hear clearly. Just as she came closer, the door was pushed open.

“You b***h, how dare you…”

Sheena Jones was shocked to see Emily Gray and couldn’t finish her sentence. Her steps froze and looked at her with eyes wide opened. Emily Gray was also looking at her in surprise. She expected that one day she would meet with her face to face, but still, she was shocked to see her there.

Austin Gray came running behind her and looked at them who were staring at each other without saying anything. He didn’t want Sheena Jones to find out about Emily Gray. But how long he could hide this matter. He was scared. He held Sheena’s hand and said “Sheena, look at me.  She is ….”

“Emily…. What are you doing here? Are you… are you Austin’s wife?” Sheena Jones asked this question in surprise without looking at Austin Gray. She didn’t hear what he just said.

Emily Gray opened her mouth to reply but before she could say anything Austin Gray asked Sheena Jones in surprise “Do you know her?”

Sheena Jones nodded and said staring at Emily “Yes. We were in the same school and she used to be my good friends.”

Emily stared at her eyes as if she was searching for something, but she didn’t find any expression in her eyes. It was cold and indifferent.

Sheena Jones came closer to her and said calmly “I didn’t know that you are Austin’s wife. He told me that he is married but I never expected that you might be his wife.” She looked at her for a few seconds. Her cold gaze softened as if she felt pain and continued “If I knew this earlier then…”

Hope arose in Emily’s mind, she grabbed her hand and said before she could complete her sentence “Sheena, listen to me. I have no objection to your relationship with Austin. You can…”

“Enough.” This time Austin Gray shouted angrily. He glared at Emily and pulled Sheena Jones away. Emily startled and looked up at him. She heard him say “Don’t even think to trick her.” He then looked down at Sheena Jones and said tenderly “Don’t carry away with her. She is very vicious and scheming. She brainwashed Dad and turned him against me. I am afraid that she will also manipulate you. Don’t listen to her.”

“But she is…”

He cupped her face and interrupted her “Baby, trust me. She is nothing to me. I will solve this problem very soon. Will you listen to me?”

She looked at him for some time and nodded. He placed a soft kiss in the corner of her lips and said “Go down. I will come soon.”

She then walked out of the room. As soon as Sheena Jones left the room Austin Gray strode to Emily and grabbed her neck tightly. He was strangling her and she was struggling to breathe. She slapped and pinched his hand to set free, but his grip tightened more. He then said coldly “You have already ruined many things in my life. If you try to destroy my career, then I will make your life a living hell.”

He then released her and pushed her down hard. She fell to the ground and tried to catch a breath. She coughed vigorously.  He was so angry that he kicked her on her stomach.

“Ugh..”

She curled up into a ball to endure the pain. She gritted her teeth and said “How can I ruin your career? I was helping you. If she knows that I have no interest to be your wife then she will be happy. You can….”

He shouted to interrupt her “Stop playing games. I know what you are trying to do. You are acting to be pitiful so that she can leave me. But I will never let you win. I have worked hard for this position. I won’t allow you to ruin this. I am warning you don’t even try to play a game with her.”

He turned around and left after dropping those words. The door slammed loudly and locked from outside as soon as he went out.

Emily was helpless. She didn’t know what he was trying to say. If she explained it clearly to Sheena Jones, then all the problems could be solved immediately. But why he didn’t allow her to explain. What was going on in his mind? All these questions were making her mind blur. She was unable to think properly. She sat down on the ground holding her knees. She was looking ahead in a trance. She was losing her hopes slowly. She thought she might die one day in this closed room and never could escape from there.

That night no one came to deliver dinner to her. She was not surprised. It was the way of his punishment. She laughed at her luck. She thought she married the person she loved and she was the luckiest woman but now that same person hated her the most and treated her as an enemy. She drank some water and lied down on the bed. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

Just as she closed her eyes the door was pushed open. Emily startled and jumped out of the bed immediately. She looked at the door only to see Austin Gray’s tall figure. He closed the door loudly behind him and walked closer to her. His eyes were bloodshot and he looked enraged.

Emily was terrified. She retreated step by step, but he approached her without stopping his steps. At last, her back hit on the cold glass window and there was no way left to step back. He came closer and closer to her. The horrific scenes of his torture came to her mind. He would not leave her tonight also and he would do the same thing to her again. She was scared to death to think of it. She swallowed her saliva and said in a shaky voice “Austin, please don’t do.”

Pa… He slapped her hard. Her face turned to one side by the impact. She could taste the blood in her mouth and held her cheek with one hand. Before she could react, she got another slap on her other cheek and he continued slapping again and again for a few more times until she fell on the ground. He grabbed her arm and pulled her up. He again slapped her and said “You b***h, because of you she cried. Because of you, she is not talking to me. I will not spare you tonight.”

Emily could smell alcohol from his mouth. He was drunk. She was horrified when she heard him and trembled. Tonight he would not hesitate to kill her. She thought if she resisted, she might get hurt more, so she decided to not struggle.

He ripped off her clothes mercilessly. The cold wind hit on her bare skin and she shivered slightly. He groped her breasts and started kneading. She clenched her fist and closed her eyes so that she couldn’t feel anything. She didn’t want to struggle or react. When he saw her not struggling, he got more furious and pinched her n*****s hard. She gritted her teeth to endure the pain and didn’t make any sound. He was even more enraged. He slapped her again and turned her around. He pressed her from the back on the glass door and said angrily “You don’t want to scream right? Let me see how much you can endure.”

He pulled her one leg up and immediately inserted his hardness. It was painful. She tried hard to not scream but his movement was very rough as if he wanted to destroy her private part. He then pulled her hair, pushed her down on the bed, and again started doing his action. After a long time when he finally finished, he kicked her down from the bed and went to the bathroom to wash.

Emily was lying on the ground naked motionlessly. At that moment she was praying if she could die. She didn’t want to live anymore. She thought death was the only way to escape from this torture.
