Austin Gray didn’t come out of the study room till afternoon. He came out to receive a delivery. He opened the box and smiled. He then went to Emily’s room. She was still standing beside the glass window looking outside. He frowned and walked to her. He asked, “Have you finished eating lunch?”
“Yes.” She replied without looking back at him.
He opened the box took out a pendant chain and put it on her neck. Emily startled and put her hand on the pendant subconsciously. She looked down at it and saw a heart-shaped blue pendant with a gold chain. He hugged her around her waist from back, put his chin on her shoulder, and said softly “It’s a sapphire pendant. Do you like it?”
