Do I still love her?

Emily slowly opened her eyes and looked out. The glass window was glittering in the bright sunlight. She lazily sat up on the bed. Her back was aching. There was a dull pain in her lower abdomen also. She rubbed her back and stretched her body.

“You are awake.”

She startled and looked at the direction of the sound only to meet the cold indifferent gaze of Austin Gray. She was stunned. Every morning when she woke up she didn’t see Austin Gray in the villa. This was the first time she saw him sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper. She was looking at him in surprise.

Austin Gray shifted his gaze from her and looked down at the newspaper. He lazily said “Are you not tired of staring at me? Go and make breakfast. I need to go to the office.”

Emily was so embarrassed that she wanted to find a hole and hid there. She didn’t want to stare at him, OK? She was just surprised. She snorted and rushed to the bathroom. After a quick bath, she sneakily came out of the bathroom wrapping a towel. She heaved a sigh of relief when she didn’t see Austin Gray in the room. She hurriedly walked to the closet lowering her head and bumped into someone. She was so frightened that she retreated a few steps instantly and looked up. She saw Austin Gray only in his boxer. She blushed when she saw his well build muscular upper body.

“I am sorry, I am sorry.”

She turned around to leave but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his embrace. He lowered his head, rested his chin on her shoulder, and asked “Are you trying to seduce me? If yes, then you have succeeded.”

The moment he finished speaking he pulled away from the towel and threw it down. Then he started his action inside the closet. They made love for a long time. When he finally finished, Emily lost all her strength and about to fall to the ground, but Austin Gray hugged her tightly. He carried her horizontally and took her into the bathroom. He turned on the shower and the cold water fell on their body. The moment the cold water touched her body she was awakened with a jolt.

“Cold, cold.” She shouted helplessly.

He put her down and pulled her into his embrace. He whispered “Don’t move. Let me clean you.”

With that, he started rubbing her skin, but looking at her fare delicate skin and attractive figure, his desire arose again. He made love with her in the bathroom also. Finally, when he finished he wiped her wet body, carried her out of the bathroom, and laid her down on the bed gently. He caressed her cheek and said softly “You have the entire day to think about what I asked you yesterday. I hope you will say yes. Now rest well. I got to go to the office.”

He pulled up the blanket and covered her body before he walked to the closet. Emily was too tired to open her eyes. She didn’t know when Austin Gray left the villa.

When she opened her eyes it was dark outside. It turned out that she slept the entire day. She sat up on the bed and looked around in a daze. How could she sleep for so long? She was embarrassed. Just then her stomach growled loudly. No doubt she was hungry. She walked to the closet, took out a dress, and wore it. Then she went to the bathroom to wash her mouth and face. After that, she walked down to the kitchen and cooked some noodles. Very soon the noodles were done and she ate with satisfaction.

After finished eating, she placed the fork down and thought about what Austin Gray told her. She felt disgusted with his idea. She was wondering why he wanted to send her to another man. When she thought carefully an idea emerged in her mind. She had no idea who was that man but she thought if she told him everything clearly and asked him for help then might be he won’t do anything with her. Furthermore, saying no to Austin Gray might anger him, so it was better to say yes. She made her mind to say yes. She then washed the dishes and cooked some food for him.

Just as she was about to finish cooking the main door cracked open and Austin Gray came inside. She turned around and looked at him who was also looking at her. He then closed the door and walked to the room without a word.

She looked at his leaving figure and sighed. She finished cooking and waited for him to come down sitting on the chair. After some time he came down to the dining area and sat down on a chair. Emily served him food. He then started eating quietly. They didn’t speak a single word and only the sound of the fork making contact with the plate was audible. Once he finished eating he walked to the second floor without looking back at her.

Emily was living there for nearly two months and she couldn’t find out what was there on the second floor. She looked at him sometimes and took the dishes to the washbasin. After washing the dishes, she went to her room. She stood in front of the glass window and looked outside after freshening up.

“Have you decided?” Austin Gray walked inside the room while saying this.

Emily startled and turned around to look. She saw Austin Gray walking towards her. He came closer and just stood in front of her. She looked at his handsome face for a few seconds and turned around her head to look outside. She then said calmly “I agree with you. I will go and meet that person.” She turned around, looked up at him, and added “But don’t back off from your words.”

She said those words indifferently as if it didn’t bother her at all. When he heard her say yes he felt heartache. Thought he wanted to hear this but the moment he saw her indifferent attitude and heard her agree on this he felt tightness in his heart. He clenched his fist and looked at her coldly for a few moments. He suddenly grabbed her head from the back, lowered his head, and kissed her hungrily. He was chewing her lips as if he was punishing her. The more he kissed her, the angrier he became. He ripped off her clothes and pushed her down on the bed. Emily was scared and tried to run, but he grabbed her leg pulled her towards him. He quickly removed his pants and pressed her down. He hated her the most and he didn’t love her at all, but still, he couldn’t accept the fact of Emily sleeping with another man. He didn’t know why he felt an attachment to her and why he was feeling bad. He was frustrated. He let out his frustration on her violently. Emily fainted in pain but Austin Gray didn’t stop his movement. He was venting his irritation nonstop like a mad man. Finally, when he consumed all his energy he stopped his action and lied down beside her senseless body.

He turned around his head and looked at her. Her face was covered with sweat and some strands of hairs were stuck on her face. Her lips were bruised and there were several red and blue marks all over her body. He felt pain when he saw her in this condition. It was all done by him. He extended his hand to remove the hairs from her face but his hands froze in the mid-air. Why should he care for her? She was the one who manipulated his father for the property. He was ready to give her lots of money after divorce so that she could live her life without any problem but she schemed against him. He hated this woman and he shouldn’t have any feelings for her. He must focus on his plan. He must send her to Earle Wilson.

He retracted his hand and got up off the bed immediately. He picked up his clothes, wore it, and left the room. He came to the second floor and entered his study room. He took out the cigarette packet from the drawer and lit up. He smoked one after another until he finished the whole packet. He couldn’t shake off the piercing feeling in his heart. ‘Do I still love her?’ He asked himself. How could that be? He loved Sheena Jones, not Emily. His love for Emily died the moment he met Sheena Jones. She helped him so much to achieve success in his career. Due to her, he acquired the position of President in ‘Dynamic Groups’. He couldn’t betray her. What about Emily? She was a vengeful woman. Under her innocent appearance, she was scheming to loot him. How could he feel anything for her? He suppressed the uneasiness in his heart and prepared his mind to focus on his plan. He couldn’t afford distraction now. Once he achieved his desired goal he would kick her out of his life. Now he didn’t want his family property. His complete focus was on being the CEO of Dynamic Groups and for that, he would do everything possible.
