Chapter FiveSeated beside Lord Howdrith in his curricle, Selina looked around her. Baden-Baden was very French in appearance, the style of the houses, the civic buildings and the shops all had an elegance not found in German towns. They drove down the lovely Lechtentaler Allee past the gardens of the Kurhaus where. Lord Howdrith told Selina, the Duke of Hamilton, for a bet, once led a calf on a blue ribbon.
