~Two weeks later
It was time to go to my first council meeting and mom was going with me. Since she still had a seat on the council as the head, she had to be there. To be honest, it was nice to have mom to myself during the plane ride to the Council Manor. Most of the time, one or all of my siblings were around, so it was hard to get any attention from mom or dad.
During the plane ride, I asked questions about the meetings and what they all did during their time at the Manor. I learned that it was a time to relax and catch up with the others.
When our plane landed in Virginia, we got off with our bags and descended to an SUV that was waiting for us. It took us to the Manor and I enjoyed looking out at the space it was in. It was really pretty here, no wonder mom loved this pl
