17. Jaxson's Eighteenth

Eric ~Five months later I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I reached over and turned it off before sitting up and stretching. I got up and went about my usual morning routine before I realized what day it was. It was Jaxson’s birthday and he was now of age. I went down to the kitchen and quickly made my breakfast, a quick omelet with some toast. I ate in the kitchen before leaving the packhouse to go annoy him on his big day. It was time for a little payback if I could serve it. I walked from the packhouse to the village and down to my parents' house.
