KATHERINE By the time I woke up, the sun was very high in the sky. I had truly overslept. My hand didn't really hurt so much, thanks to Rowan. The sound of him snapping my bone back into place replayed in my mind and I cringed at the sound. As I tried to get out of bed, I felt a hold around my stomach tighten. He was here. He slept here last night. That was when I remembered that I had fallen asleep on his shoulder while he patted my head. I felt so stupid now, I should have moved away when I thought about it. When I noticed that he didn’t move, I breathed out in relief that I hadn’t woken him up. Now that I thought about it, it was no wonder I felt extra comfortable last night.
