KATHERINE “I know, I wish I hadn't been born too.” I whispered without even realizing it. I only realized what I had said when his hold on me softened. I snapped back to reality to see him staring intently at me. His blank expression slowly progressed into a very deep frown. I knew that I had just broken the little peace I had been allowed to enjoy. “I’m sorry.
