KATHERINE This time, I didn't have to worry about the things pricking my feet. The thick snow that had fallen these past few days had covered the ground entirely. So as I ran, my feet sank into a cushion of soft ice. It had began to snow heavily as I ran deeper and deeper into the forest. Saying I was cold would be an understatement. I was freezing and my fingertips were numb. The heels I was wearing were hindering me from running properly. And I couldn't remove them so my feet won't get too cold and I will get hypothermia.
