Intimacy

“Don’t tell me you two have been humping each other while father was still alive?” Ada yelled. Ada has been having a series of issues with her mother. Although no one from her family could pinpoint what's really going on between  Ada and her mother. However, Prince Afa suspects it's because their mother is fond of Drew and always seen around him. He believes this act alone disgusts Ada. Queen Afi cares less about her daughter's view of her. She turned towards Ada and said, “Keep your voice down child.”   “I don’t care what you two are planning but my brother’s coronation must go on today because the council has approved it,” said Ada as she glares at her mother Queen Afi. Ada turned and faced Drew. Her countenance towards Drew isn't bright as she frowned her face. “And as for you Drew, you have only but today to clear whatever it is you have in the palace and leave." For the very first time in the royal family, Ada has the boldness to issue an order, not just to anybody but to a noble. Drew has been her late father's most trusted friend and one of the envied nobles in the kingdom of Maxis and its neighboring kingdoms. He has fought many battles with King Aba, Ada's late father, and both often came back victorious with many plunder. The queen can't imagine being alive and watching her daughter move around the palace as if she's in charge. Such disgusts her seeing her daughter passing a decree especially one that has to do with her the queen. She didn't like what the princess had said to Drew.  The queen glared at her daughter with curiosity and with her eyes fixed on Ada and then she spoke up, “On whose authority are you commanding him out of the palace?” Staring her mother deep in the eyes, Ada asked explicitly, “Do you want my brother to hear what I just heard now?” And brought her mouth closer to her mother's ear and then whispered to her, “I don’t think so.”  Ada turned and walked away as Drew kicked against the wall with total disappointment. "What should we do now?"   ...A FEW HOURS LATER… “My great people of Maxis I am eternally grateful for having you all present at my coronation. And as your new king, I promise to keep the peace of this great kingdom, Maxis, and to make sure all our rivals have a taste of my sword.”  Afa addresses the people as they all hailed and cheer him up in total excitement. “Long live the king!” they all hailed in total excitement. The people desire King Afa to be their king after they lost King Aba without any clue of how he ended up dead. They believe in King Afa just as they believed in his father king Aba. “Your highness,” Kay greeted with a bow as she wore a cute smile staring at Afa’s new royal robe.  King Afa was dressed in a red flowing robe decorated with gold ribbons. His golden crown fitted perfectly and in his right hand was a golden scepter which his late father held while he was king. He was also putting on a signet ring that represents his ruling authority over Maxis. Whatever the king signs with his signet ring can’t be revoked by anyone, not even him.  “Your robe fits perfectly and I know you would make a great king,” said Kay with a fancy smile.  “Thank you, my dear, perhaps I could make you the new Queen of Maxis,” Afa said with a cute smile. He has been dating Kay for over three years but his late father never liked Kay and has threatened to kill her if she is seen around his son. The late king wanted his son to marry a noble or a princess and not just a royal subject even though Kay was friends with Princess Ada; the late king never wanted his son, Afa to be seen around her. Kay blushes and then replies with a low bow. “I will be honored, your highness.” Ada interrupts their moment as she walks in on them. “Permit me, my friend, I want to have a word with my brother,” she said as she glanced at Kay.  “Of course my Princess,” Kay replied as she took her leave.  “If you will make a great king you must be focused on the cause and not on my friend’s wasp waist and sexy arse,” Ada said with total seriousness. She knew quite well that her brother has been going after her friend since she returned. She does not oppose them dating but she doesn’t want her brother to be carried away, after all, this is his early stage of being a king and all he has to do is to focus and put Maxis first.  “A king needs a queen,” Afa said, putting up a cute smile.  “Brother, I know but this is not the time,” Ada replied. Amongst the nobles, Ada’s interest in the growth of Maxis can’t be disputed. Her passion is to see their kingdom soar amongst their neighboring kingdom and this has been their father’s passion before he was found dead.  “Why not?” Afa asked sternly.  “You have to focus on getting rid of our long-time rival, the kingdom of Wex. As soon as the kingdom of Wex hears you have been crowned king, they will come knocking for a war.”  The Kingdom of Wex has been opposing Maxis for years. And they will see every reason to strike once they find out King Afa is crowned king. They have been looking for the right time to strike and Ada seems to be right with her views about Wex because they have been a long-time enemy of their kingdom and they can’t be ignorant of Wex.   “I can handle them,” Afa said boastfully.  “Not when you keep humping around with my best friend brother. You have to stay focused at least for now if not your subjects will see you as weak. Besides, my friend Kay can wait until you are ready. There is no rush brother,” Ada laments.  “I have heard of you sister, but this is not what I have to do alone. I need your help as well to make this kingdom great again.”  “Of course brother, I am always here for you,” Ada replied with a smile. As soon as she saw their mother Queen Afi approaches, Ada sighed and excused herself. “Don’t tell me you two had a fight again,” Afa said, staring at his mother.  “Your sister and I are good, son, and you have nothing to worry about,” said Queen Afi with a fake smile.  “She doesn’t look happy seeing you,” Afa said, expressing mixed feelings.  “Don’t worry about that, let’s talk about your plans as the new king.”  ...Entrance of the Palace... “What is the matter?” Kay asked on seeing Ada’s mood. She wasn’t looking bright and her friend can easily tell from the look on her face even though she tried to act up and behave as if nothing happened. “It’s nothing, I will be fine,” Ada replied. Kay fixed her eyes on Ada with curiosity. “You don’t look fine to me and I can tell from the look of your face.”  Ada slowly lowered her head and spoke in a tiny little voice of hers. “You have nothing to worry about,”  “Very well then,” Kay replied but still not convinced.  …A WEEK LATER… Kingdom of Wex The imperial guards led Drew into the palace as he quickly prostrated before the king of Wex, King Abacus saying in a loud voice, “Long live the king!”  King Abacus has a monstrous look. His beard was unkempt and his long hair was braided. His subjects fear him because he is a king that rules with an iron fist. He was not loved by many but anytime his name is mentioned, there will certainly be people that will tremble at the mention of his name.  “What brings you to Wex?” King Abacus asked with his eyes on Drew.  “I have news about the kingdom of Maxis, your highness.” Drew wasn’t sure of what will be his fate after meeting with king Abacus of Wex. He knows quite well that king Abacus is a king that does not tolerate his subjects but due to his lust for power, he took the risk of visiting Wex to meet with her king. “You may rise and have a seat,”  said King Abacus as he looked intently at Drew. After Drew sat on the wooden seat with a touch of skulls that were used in decorating it, King Abacus gazed at him with a mean look. “What news do you have about Maxis?”  Drew clears his throat and then replies, “Afa has been made king over Maxis and it will please you to strike the young king now. He has no experience of war or affairs of the kingdom.”  “Why would you suddenly betray your friend’s son and your kingdom so easily?” King Abacus asked with curiosity. On many occasions, the late King Aba has fought a series of wars with Wex in defense of Maxis and his right-hand noble was Drew. Many knights and soldiers of Wex have fallen to the sword of Drew and his friend the late king. If anyone would talk about the late king of Maxis being betrayed, it shouldn't be by his most trusted friend, Drew. Lust for power has made people forget their friends and who their families are. They can take up swords and kill anyone who stands on their way to power.  “It is true that the late king of Maxis was my good friend but I can’t watch the affairs of the kingdom ruled by his son who has no experience,” Drew laments.  “What exactly do you seek, Drew?” King Abacus asked sternly.  “If you help me take down the new king of Maxis, half of the kingdom of Maxis will be yours while I rule the other half.”  The king glances at Drew and then bursts out with laughter. He then looked intently at Drew and spoke in confidence. “I have armies at my disposal and weapons of any kind but you have nothing to offer.”  King Abacus stood to his feet and made his way to Drew. “Now that Afa’s father is dead, I can easily conquer Maxis and reign over it.”  “You can't breach through the walls of Maxis, you and I know that. But with my help, you can easily penetrate the walls of Maxis and plunder their wealth.”  Amongst the other neighboring kingdom of Maxis, it’s only Maxis’ walls that are well fortified and have no record of a breach. Kingdom of Maxis ...At the Palace Kitchen... Inside the palace kitchen, as the maidens prepare the dinner for the entire royal family, one of the maidens known as Eva walked it wearing a fancy smile on her face. The chief maiden noticed her fancy smiles. She approached Eva and asked with curiosity. “What are you smiling at?”  “For the very first time, King Afa just stared at me with a smile. I can't stop admiring his rapture-blue eyes,” she replied.  “You should wake up from your deep sleep, the king won’t settle for a maiden,” said the chief maiden.  “Don’t hate,” Eva replied glaring at the chief maiden. “Don’t tell me you are jealous already, are you?” “I can’t be jealous of you because you just told me the king stared at you with a smile.” At the Palace Pool As Ada was seated beside the palace pool, her mother approached her. She was looking nervous but she opened up to speak. “Ada, can I have a word with you?”  “There is nothing to talk about,” Ada replied, frowning at her mother.  “I am still your mother and you will do well to listen to me,” said Queen Afi in a scolding tone. “I can’t stand staring at you and I’m ashamed to call you my mother,” Ada said as she quickly stood on her feet and made her way into the palace main building. “Hey sis, have you seen Kay?” Afa asked on seeing Ada walk into the palace's main building.  “I saw her leaving in the morning and I have not seen her since then,” Ada replied.  Noticing the look on his sister’s face, King Afa approached her. “Why is your face looking pale?” “I don’t want to bother you with my worries brother,” Ada replied, putting down her head.  “Your worries are mine also,” said King Afa as he gently held his sister by the jaw and slowly lifted her face, “Whatever that is bothering you, I need to know.”   “I will let you know at the appointed time, your highness,” Ada replied with a low bow. ...King Afa’s Chamber... Staring down the window from his chamber, King Afa heard a gentle knock on his door as he hurried to the door and peeped from the door hole. Seeing Eva standing in front of the door, he smiled as he quickly opened the door, “Your highness!” said Eva with a bow on seeing King Afa. “You sent for me,” she added with her head slightly lowered.  “Can you come in please,” said King Afa as he opened the door wide and then shut it as soon as Eva walked in. “Indeed I sent for you,” King Afa said as he stared at Eva’s glossy skin and her nectar sweet lips. “I have been admiring you from afar and I can’t resist anymore,” King Afa said as he fixed his eyes on the shape of her large boobs.  On hearing this, Eva blushes and puts down her head slowly. “Don’t be shy, it’s only both of us here,” said King Afa in a soothing voice.  “I am intrigued with your sayings my king and I am only but a maiden,” Eva replied with her head still lowered. “And yet your beauty has caught my eyes,” said King Afa as he approached Eva. “Just look at me my dear,” King Afa added as he slowly placed his hand on Eva’s jaw and raised her head gently. “Your eyes are shiny like that of a diamond,” King Afa added with a smile.  “Forgive me, my king, I have to go now,” said Eva in a tiny voice.  “You just got here my dear,” King Afa said as he drew his body closer to Eva. “My body won’t rest until it has more of you enveloped all over me.” King Afa stared deep into Eva’s eyes. His words became alive to Eva as she glanced at King Eva with a smile. Bringing his lips closer to Eva’s lips for a kiss, Kay walked in, “What’s going on here?” she exclaimed.
