"Mates," My heart filled with warmth when she said the words out loud.
"That's right, mates," I say to her
"I don't understand all this," She rubs her fingers across her forehead.
"Maybe I can explain some things to you maybe break it down for you,"
Putting her hand back in her lap she begins to fidget with her fingers.
"You can as anything," I tell her.
I was hoping and pleading in my head she says yes I want to just sit here and spend time with her letting her see she can trust me.
