It was as if time itself had stopped..the sound of tires screeching pulled me out of this trance as what should have been a horrible nightmare became all too real. I lifted onto my hands and knees, crawling towards Nico's limp body as the sound of my racing heart filled my ears.
"N..Nico..Baby..please.." I croaked, my hands reaching for him as his bloodied face filled my vision. Red liquid streamed down the side of his head as I lifted my trembling hands and tried to swipe it away.
"You're okay, it's going to be okay." I whispered over and over again as strong arms suddenly wrapped around my waist.
"Giada, we can't move him, it might make it worse." Sebastian's voice suddenly broke through as my eyes continued to scan Nico's body.
