Why am I so scared? Why am I intimidated by a woman which Alexander doesn’t even recognise who she is but a desperate girl? How could I let her make me stoop so low? I am sitting in the boardroom with everyone involved in the meeting. I feel lost because everyone is blabbing about their professions, and I am sitting here, quiet and listening to them talk.
I would have stayed in Alexander’s room or left when he wanted to call a driver for me to take me home, but my jealous heart wanted me to attend this meeting with them as if I am going to contribute anything here.
