Author’s Note
Just a quick note this time, for a quick—but satisfying, I hope!—story! Esme and Ursula were such a delight to write, and they’re so good for each other. Esme helps everyone else but has been rather lonely herself, and she’s quietly slowly fallen in love with Ursula, her princess, the sort of princess who also helps everyone, capable and practical and committed to being a good future monarch. And Ursula’s very used to being everyone’s friend and future ruler, but not necessarily the person who takes someone’s breath away…except somehow someone as magical as her honey witch can look at her and smile, now. And they’ll be a splendid Queen and Royal Consort, of course! Devoted to the land and their people.
