"You are late" The lecturer, Mr Jeff, glared at me sternly. I could see the class staring at me. Murmuring to one another as they stared at me without shame. I was expecting it. I had dressed differently at school again. Irina's lips tilted up in a satisfied smirk . Of course, she would be satisfied. The universe was making her job easy. b***h.
And then the lecturer uttered the words that I dreaded, the words that I tried to avoid hearing at all cost since I gained scholarship into the academy.
