“well look at that, Hope actually survived for two months. It’s a miracle” Marie said, and we all rolled our eyes.
“we all know that you like her Marie so stop pretending that you don’t, just like we know you care about us. the I don’t care look doesn’t look good on you” Rose and Marie just frowned.
We all smiled at this, Marie is tough on the outside but a softie on the inside, the reason she doesn’t really talk to newbies is fear of attachment.
She doesn’t want to get attached to a person who might die in a few hours, as for the rest of us she knows we can hold our ground.
