Chapter 73

Jeremiah sat down beside Judith’s bed and looked at her and said,” Are they telling the truth? Did you do that to her?”

“Do what?” Judith asked and her voice was still slightly groggy but she had come out of the stupor that she was in.

“Sold her?” asked Jeremiah as he gritted his teeth and Judith closed her eyes again and this time Jeremiah rattled the bed and it shook with force and Judith started screaming when Lester pressed his hand on her mouth and said,” Don’t make too much noise.”

“I don’t want to but she is making it very difficult for me to not hurt her,” said Jeremiah and Comet sighed.

“You guys always rely on brute force to do things. You have no sense at all,” she commented. And then she flicked out a small Swiss knife from under neath her dress inside her bra and then walked towards Judith and said,” You see this knife Judith?”

Judith looked at Comet as if she was insane and then nodded. Her mouth was still pressed down by Lester and she was trying to dislodge his hand and Comet brought the tip of the knife very close to her eyes and asked,” Do you like seeing Judith? Like seeing my Daddy? Or even seeing your step-son, Jeremiah? Who if I might say is very hot?”

Jeremiah looked at her stunned but Comet was not even bothered. She kept going on,” I know that you love enjoying good things, and you love the sense of security that your profession and your good looks bring in. And I don’t mind that at all…it is actually a pretty good thing to enjoy but tell me, would you be able to do the same thing if you don’t have your eyes, right?”

Judith’s eyes widened and then she closed them and Comet laughed and said,” If you don’t have eyes then you probably would not need the lashes as well…and the eyelids…it is beautiful…how you can mutilate someone. There are tutorials for doing that. Do you know? Like the make over tutorials….it is what can I say…fascinating!”

Larry and Jeremiah both looked at Comet dumbfounded.

“But those things aside…please tell me that this is something that you don’t want to happen to you…because I am a first timer and no doubt there will be mistakes. So, the final result whether you can see or not, it is not going to be pretty at all,” said Comet as she poked the knife to her ribs and there was a small tear in the hospital gown that she was wearing. And then she said,” And if you are telling that you don’t know then I can push this in between your second and third rib and there will be a hole in your lungs and you would not be able to breathe and would choke in a little while but your lungs will fill with blood. And the doctors would not be able to save you.”

Lester let go off his hand and Judith said,” You cannot do this to me..you cannot…you are not…why you little b***h…you think that you will…”

Comet pressed the tip of the knife a bit more and it cut her skin and Judith winced and Comet said,” You forget that I am the one with the knife and you are the one with your hands and feet bound to the bed. How did you do it by the way? I mean, sending the girl that you gave birth to and then raised till she was eighteen just so that you could sell her off like she was a piece of meat?”

“I did not do it. Why are thinking that I am the one who sold her? Are you f*****g insane? Don’t believe anything that your step-father tells you…he is the one who has been…”

Comet pressed the knife harder and then then she took it up and slashed the hospital gown with one swift stroke and then placed the knife in between her breasts and said,” You know stabbing in the heart is a sure shot way to kill someone. Say something against my Daddy and I will do that to you no matter what.”

“He is a f*****g pervert.” Spat Judith and Lester rolled his eyes and Jeremiah said,” So are you then.”

“What? What do you mean?” Judith asked Jeremiah as he laughed out.

“We will come to that later on, Judith. Right now, you gotta tell me where is Jenny, or else really I don’t find any reason to let you stay alive…you are nothing else but scum on earth and I firmly believe in the fact that you don’t need to be alive when all you have been doing is going out and making the lives of all those girls hell. And don’t tell me that you have not done that because I have seen evidence that you have.”

“What evidence?” asked Judith and Comet said,” Look, you are really getting on my nerves now. You either tell me that you know something useful or I am killing you off right now.”

“This is a hospital. Do you think that you can kill me here and go away unscathed?” asked Judith with a smile and Lester said,” You actually are underestimating her to a great extent. She can and even if she is not, then she has two men standing behind her to have her back.”

“Three men.”

“That is under serious consideration right now,” said Larry as he glared at Jeremiah but Comet gave him a blinding smile and made a kissing face and then she turned back towards Judith and said,” I get that you are stalling. Fine. Choking it is.”

And she slid the knife in between her ribs and Judith started squirming and shaking violently and Lester pressed his hands on her mouth again and said,” Do it, if you want to baby girl.”

And Judith started saying something underneath his pressed palms when Comet said,” last chance for you to speak Judith. If not, this is the last you get to take a breath.”

“She is being shifted tonight with the cargo of cars in a cargo plane. She will be drugged. There are three buyers for her. Since she is virgin and untouched and untrained the bid will happen tomorrow in Malta and the one who gets to buy her will tell the specifications according to which he wants her to be made and she will be trained accordingly for the next three months and after that he will take her with him. I don’t know who the buyers are but I know that there is a European, possibly Spanish, and there is a Russian gangster who was rumoured to be in KGB and also an American billionaire who has made his fortune in aviation and tech.”

“For someone who does not know anything, it seems like you know a lot. Where is being held now?” asked Lester and Judith said,” Of that I have no idea. This was also not because they told me. While they were stabbing me at random places the others were discussing and I came to know this. You think that it might seem like I sold her but it was not that case.”

“Yes it is the case.”

“They were going to kill her and then cut her up in pieces before me…” Screamed Judith and Comet sighed and said,” Judith, you know better than to lie to us. That lie is really not going to work on me. Your daughter is better dead than being a mindless f****d up f**k toy for some man.”

“I gave her a chance to live,” Judith said as she held up her head proudly and Comet said,” Daddy, please let me kill this b***h…please…”

“She might know more things…we will kill her after we come to know that she has nothing more to say. Larry, get the nurse and sedate this f*****g slut.”

Jeremiah was silent through the entire thing and he watched Comet in awe and heard in horror at what his step-mother had done and he had lost words but now that they were going to leave he said,” I thought that you were just a b***h who wanted protection and security and that is the reason you did, what you did but now I know that you are not even a human. You are a monster. We have been killing and trying to save people out there killing monsters and I had no idea that I had one right under my nose. If I did then I would have killed you long back.”

“You are a bastard like your father. Righteous bastard. This is the reason that he got killed…huh!” said Judith as Jeremiah slapped her hard across the face.

“I never raise my hands against a woman but you have made it extremely difficult for me to even tolerate your words,” said Jeremiah as it looked like the force of his hit had knocked her off.

“I gotta learn how to do that,” said Comet as she smiled at Jeremiah and said excitedly,” That was awesome..”

Larry said,” we have to work fast. It doesn’t seem like we have much time on our hands.”

“If not then we are gonna take a trip to Malta,” said Comet as if that was the most natural thing in the world.

“At first we have to come to know that if she is telling the truth,” Said Jeremiah and Lester nodded. “He is right. It is extremely possible that she is sending us on a wild goose chase when everything is happening here right under our noses.”

“How are we going to know that she is telling the truth? It is not like we can hook her to a machine and come to see that she is speaking truth and then we can act on it,” said Jeremiah and Lester said,” Polygraph tests are not right most of the time, Jeremiah. We have to do it the other way.”
