Aneela was drifting under the surface of consciousness for the longest time. In and out, she managed to slip from the nets of the fever only for her mind to be clouded again from another burst of fires engulfing her entire body. She had no idea how long she’d been like this, trembling and covered in cold sweat, and she didn’t know if it was ever going to end. In the rare moments she was back to her senses, all she wanted to was stay a bit longer, until she was sure Roan was alright. For some reason her feverish brain really cared about the vampire bastard even now, even after everything he’d told her.
