Tears fill her eyes. Terror fills her soul. Her mind is blank, and all she hears is the sound of blurry screaming voices and the sound of Edward's voice screaming her name. Bonnie opens her eyes, trying to see where Edward might be, the smoke burning her eyes, she holds her gaze on him. The king walks up to him, drawing his dagger, as Edward tries to run toward her. The king stabs Edward in the stomach, blood staining his cream-colored shirt, falling to the ground, the king grabs him by the chin, turning his head in the direction Bonnie burns. Tears fall down his face as he watches his love be burned on a stake, the rope holding her as the flames burned her legs. Suddenly the king falls to the ground beside Edward, and the fire disappears. Bonnies not on the stake, but suddenly Edward feels arms wrap around his shoulders, taking a deep breath of slight relief he looks over his shoulder, hoping to see Bonnie, but instead, all he sees is a red rose planted in the ground and the necklace he gave her when they first fell in love. "red roses were her favorite," he whispers to himself, tears filling his eyes once again, reaching out to the rose, stroking the velvety petals.
