Chapter 5 paper work

Jordan's P.O.V

  As the day went on, I went back to the paperwork, but there was just too much of it. My father warned me saying that if I let it pile up I would be in here all day and he was right. I was in this damn office for hours, reading and signing paperwork, making phone calls, I know now not to let work pile up. When I was finally done, I mind-linked Owen to come to my office. He arrived straight away and knocked on my door.

  "Alpha, you wanted to see me?" Owen asked, popping his head round the door.

  "Yes, I did. Come in and take a seat." I said, gesturing to the chair in front of my desk. Once he had sat down, I decided to tell him what I wanted.

  "I want you to be my Beta." I said, not really a command and not really a question either, it was more like a statement. He looked like he was in shock, but he soon shrugged it off and nodded in agreement. I had already got the paperwork ready and all he needed to do was sign it, he quickly signed it and I shook his hand, as he thanked me and we set to sorting through the paperwork together. Violet was in the garden, playing with the kids of the pack, so I had time to do everything. When the paperwork was finally done and the phone had stopped ringing off the hook, I finally got up from my chair and stretched. It felt so good standing up, my ear was red hot from the phone. 

  "I think that's everything for today, you can go home now Owen." I said, rubbing my face. I am never letting this work pile up again, thank God Owen was here to help, otherwise I wouldn't have been finished by tomorrow. I walked outside and went to the ground where the footprints had been sighted, but they were gone now. I'm going to need to keep an eye out from now on and have more guards around, so that whoever was doing this, we would be sure to capture them. I walked back to where the garden was and watched as Violet played with the kids, it looked as though she was having a blast. She must have smelled my scent, as she turned around and smiled at me, I smiled back, walked over to her and sat down beside her.

  "Let's have a date night. We can watch a movie, eat popcorn and we can spend some time together." I suggested, watching her playing.

  "That would be nice." She said, nodding. Violet let the kids go back to their mothers and we got up, brushed the dirt off our bottoms and walked hand in hand inside the house. We popped some popcorn, walked upstairs and sat on the couch in our room. Violet took the remote off the nightstand, turned on the tv and started flicking through, until she found the movie Holmes & Watson. We sat back, cuddled up and watched the movie, while eating our popcorn. After the movie had finished we turned the TV off and got into bed, discussing the events for tomorrow.

  "Do you have your dress for the ceremony?" I asked, she nodded 

  "Yes it's beautiful." She said, laying her head on my chest.

  "I bet it is, just like you. Come on let's get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow." I asked, pulling her closer and kissing her forehead. We both drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

  Unknown P.O.V 

  "They actually marked each other, that should have been me." I snarled.

  "Listen you had your time, it's gone now." Rogue wolf said.

  "It's not gone yet. I'll poison the b***h before she has her hooks in him for good." I growled loudly.

  "Listen, be careful if you're careless you will get busted and either get killed or be put in a cell with silver chains around your neck." Rogue wolf said.

  "Shut up, we'll be ok, I have someone on the inside, so no worries." I snapped.

  "If you say so. Let's get going before the guard comes back around." Rogue wolf said.

  "Fine let's go. That b***h is going to pay, I'll get him for sure." I said, taking one last look at the window and then walking away.

Guard POV

The next day they guard came knocking on the door, Seth answered the door, the guard bowed and spoke, the mystery person was on the territory once again, we saw them leaving but we couldn't catch them, they were looking up at your window sir, Seth sighed, alright give me a few minutes and I'll be down, the guard nodded and left, he was thinking, I don't know who this person is, but she intends to hurt my pack, she's going to have to go through me first. I've been with this pack since I was a kid, I'll be damn if anything happens to it,
