Chapter 14 Here we go

Rick's P.O.V

  The night was so peaceful, especially having my mate in my arms. I woke up early and did my usual things and as the morning went on, Maggie finally woke up. I knew that she was going to be a little sore, what with being her first time and all, so I kept an eye on her without her knowing I was there, I wanted to surprise her. She tried getting out of bed to go to the bathroom, but she almost fell and had to hold on to the wall to make it. She finally got to the bathroom, did her business and put the water on for the tub. I watched as she made sure it was nice and hot, with just a dab of cold. She stepped into the tub to soak her bones, laying her head back to relax. I quickly and quietly opened the bedroom door, signalling with my finger pressed to my lips for the two Omega's in front of me to keep quiet. 

  "Be very quiet and put all her things up. She's relaxing in the tub." I whispered so quietly, that without their werewolf hearing I don't think they would have heard me. I hoped this would work, the two Omega's nodded and went back to Maggie's room, gathering up everything that they had already packed up and brought it all to my room. They put her things up, hanging and folding everything, they moved her dresser to the right of mine and placed her make-up and perfume on the dresser and her jewellery on her vanity unit. They brought in her computer desk and placed it by the couch, with her chair and put her laptop, tablet and phone on top.

  "Thank you so much." I whispered to the Omega's, after everything was set up and in its place. They nodded, gave me a thumbs up and left, as I walked to the bathroom and opened the door, gently as not to disturb her. I stood there watching her for a few minutes and then walked over to her smiling.

  "Hi beautiful." I said, kneeling down beside the tub.  She opened her eyes, turned her head and looked at me smiling.

  "Hi there handsome." Maggie replied, her voice causing my heart rate to increase.

  "I have a surprise for you." I said, smirking at her. I really hope she likes it.

  "Oh you do do you?" She replied, wiggling her eyebrows at me. 

  "Not that silly, but it's still early." I replied, chuckling and wiggling my eyebrows at her. She smirked at me, as she got out of the bathtub and wrapped a towel around her.

  "So what surprise do you have for me?" She asked me and I chuckled leading her to the bedroom. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw that all of her things were in the room.  

  "When did you have time to do this?" She said, turning to me, smiling from ear to ear.

  "When you were sleeping I had helpers packing your stuff up and when you were relaxing, we came back in here to put everything up and together. Do you like it?" I asked her, keeping my fingers crossed behind my back. She took another look around pretending to think for a while, her jaw resting on her hand as she tapped her index finger against her cheek.

  "Yes I love it, thank you so much." She finally said, causing me to breathe out a sigh of relief. 

  "I'm glad you like it." I replied, feeling more relaxed now.

  "Again thank you love." She said, reaching up and kissing me softly, just then I got a link, but it wasn't Tally, it was my brother Hunter.

  "Rick come on bro it's been months now, where are you? Everyone is worried, dad is going to be stepping down soon and he says he wants you to be Alpha." Hunter mind-linked me, causing me to sigh and Maggie to look at me confused. I wasn't sure if I should answer him or not, this could be a trick to get me to tell him where I am, so he can kick my ass, but I took the chance anyway.

  "Hey bro, listen I'm okay. I'm in a pack and I'm following the rules, plus I've found my amazing mate." I replied and waited for his response. 

  "That's wonderful man, I'm very excited for you, but where are you?" Hunter replied, after a few minutes.

  "I'm in Jordon's and Violet's pack." I said, sounding proud of where I was, but also cautious about telling him. I didn't know what to expect. 

  "I know Jordan, we went to school together. Tell him to let me through, I'm on my way." Hunter excitedly said, while I sighed. 

  "I'll let him know." I replied, ending the link and starting a new one with Jordan.

  "Don't worry I already know, I have already told the guards that he will be here and to let him through." Jordan replied and I looked at my mate's confused face, smiling. 

  "My brother is on his way and you'll get to meet him if you wish." I said and Maggie nodded in understanding. 

  "I would like that." She replied and turned to get dressed, dropping the towel to the floor. 

  "You're so lucky he's coming or I would have you pinned against the wall." I whispered in her ear, as I came up behind her. 

  "I can't wait." She said, smirking and wiggling her butt, I slapped it, making her jump. She got dressed in jeans and a button up baby blue top, she did her hair in a messy bun, slipped her sandals on and she was ready.

  Hunter's P.O.V

  I looked all over for my big brother, I couldn't believe that he just up and left like that and all because he didn't like the rules. When dad said he was stepping down soon, I knew I had to find him, I tried linking him one last time and was surprised that he answered back. When he told me who he was staying with though, I was shocked and I couldn't believe it, we were friends in school. I cut the link when we got done talking and hurried to Jordan's pack, when I got to the edge of the territory, two guards were standing there waiting for me.

  "My name is Hunter, I believe your Alpha is expecting me." I said and they nodded, letting me through and escorting me to the pack house, where Jordan was waiting for me on the porch.

  "Hey man, long time no talk, it's been a long time." I said, walking up the steps of the porch and holding out my hand to Jordan.

  "Yeah it's been awhile, my old friend, so what brought you here?" Jordan replied, shaking my hand. 

  "I came for my brother, our father is stepping down soon and he wants Rick to be Alpha." I explained and Jordon nodded.

  "Come on in, he's expecting you. He's in my office with his mate and mine." Jordan said, gesturing for me to follow him and I nodded, then walked inside. 

  "Your house is beautiful Alpha." I said, taking a look around. My whole attitude changed once inside the house, it was out of great respect. We walked into his office and there was my brother, standing tall and proud, he looked a little stronger and happier. I guess it was because of the pretty girl beside him. 

  "Maggie, this is my brother Hunter. Hunter, this is my mate Maggie." Ruck said, introducing us.

  "It's nice to meet you Maggie." I said, smiling and shaking her hand.

  "Rick I have so much to tell you, dad told me a few months back that he will be stepping down and he wants you to be Alpha. He sent me looking for you man and I guess your mate will be the Luna, so both of you will be having a ceremony together." I said, excited that one I had finally found him and two that I was finally able to explain things to him. Rick stood there listening, 

  "Listen I can't leave yet, trust me I can't, there's danger coming for Violet and I'm going to make sure that she doesn't get hurt." Rick replied, sighing. 

  "Well if you're staying then I'm staying too, at least until the danger has passed." I declared and Rick nodded, 

  "Alright, well let the games begin because she's trying to link me right now." Rick said, smirking. 

  Rick's P.O.V  

  "Rick, earth to Rick. What's taking you so long to respond?" Tally said, annoyingly. 

  "Yet again you have bad timing, what do you need?" I replied, rolling my eyes at the sound of her annoying voice.

  "I'm ten minutes away, your ass better be ready." Tally said, growling at me.

  "Listen, I'm in no mood for your orders woman, just get here and get this over with." I snarled back at her.

  "Shut the hell up, I think I'll make you my slave." Tally snapped, this woman really was delusional.

  "Whatever, just get here." I replied, yet again rolling my eyes and ending the link. Jordan nodded to me and began linking everyone at once.

  "Ladies and gentlemen, the show is about to start. Guards, I need you to get out of the way, she should be on the territory any minute now." Jordan said, mind-linking everyone. The guards replied telling us that they had moved out of the way and everything was set and ready to go. A few minutes later and Tally was on the territory, stepping on Jordan's ground.
