Chapter 16 The New Alpha

Rick's P.O.V 

  Two days later, Maggie and I were standing up on stage, while Hunter and Braylan stood beside us. Alpha Rod who was our father smiled at us, I knew he was happy that both of his sons were back home.

  "Rick, do you promise to protect the Black Raven Pack? Do you promise to always keep the enemy out and friends inside? To always keep food on the table, to keep your Luna happy and protect her, to take care of the kids, to keep the pack strong and always find different ways to make it stronger and to go by the Alpha rules?" My father said and everyone softly laughed, knowing that I never liked rules. I looked back at everyone, with a smirk on my face and then looked back to my father. 

  "I promise." I said, my father cut the inside of his hand and I cut the inside of mine, we put our hands together and I felt my father's power going into me. My father lifted my hand and cleared his throat.

  "Everyone please welcome your new Alpha." My father announced and then he turned to Maggie. 

  "Now it's time for the Luna ceremony." My father said, smiling at Maggie. 

  "Maggie, do you promise to take care and protect the Alpha? to love all the children, to make sure everyone is safe and fight alongside the alpha, to make sure there's food on the table and always look ahead to keep the pack stronger and to love all in this pack?" My father said and she smiled wide at everyone. 

  "Yes I promise." Maggie replied, my father cut her hand and then his mate, my mother, Flower's hand. Maggie held Flower's hand, as the Luna power flowed into her. My mother held Maggie's hand up and cleared her throat.

  "Everyone please welcome the new Luna." My mother announced and everyone cheered, clapped and whistled. My father and mother hugged us both.

  "Never leave again. You are very much loved." My father said, pulling me closer to him, nearly hugging the life out of me. I nodded and held onto my Luna. whispering 

  "I love you baby." I whispered in her ear. 

  "I love you too." Maggie whispered back, smiling at me.

  A few years went by and Maggie and I returned to Jordan's pack.

  "Well what brought this on?" Jordan said, smiling at me, with Violet standing by his side.

  "I wanted to come by and say thank you for taking me in, even when you didn't have to. I learned a lot from you and I'm going to make you proud." I replied and Jordan smiled wide. Bringing me in for a hug.

  "Just keep making me proud and come visit from time to time." Jordan said, patting my back. he nodded 

  "I will, I promise." I said, pulling away from Jordan and we both turned to look at our beautiful mates.

  "Luna looks good on you Maggie." Violet said, smiling brightly at her. 

  "Thank you Violet, it suits you too." Maggie said and they both chuckled.
