Devon’s POV I can’t believe my luck in getting attacked and badly injured by rogue wolves. It was kind of hard on my ego, for one thing, that they cornered me in my childhood refuge. And it was on my own territory, which should have been safe. So I’m really pissed off that the safety of my pack has been compromised. And I’m angry that they managed to injure me permanently. River is capable of healing pretty much anything, but he can’t regrow an eyeball. My right eye was far too damaged, and had to be removed.
