Honestly, it was both exciting as well as terrifying to know that my mate was a Lycan. No wonder Tara had been able to take down Savannah so easily! A normal little human girl shouldn’t have been able to do that. Why hadn’t I guessed? Other than the fact that Lycans are rare. Who would expect to find a family of Lycans camping on vacation in the Olympic national forest? It’d be like finding a unicorn in a herd of sheep. Very unexpected!
It was exciting because the addition of Lycan blood into our gene pool would strengthen the pack. Neighboring packs would either befriend us, or fear us. We could grow and dominate the area, making it safer and more profitable for our people in general.
