Devon’s POV I was glad that I was able to ease Tara’s mind regarding her parents and our pups. I’m sure she must have been grieving for months believing that they were all dead. It probably broke her heart. I was also glad to hear that Tara was not in love with Marcell, and that it sounds like she actually hates him. I guess he doesn’t feel as if he needs to put any effort in. Well, that’s pretty stupid of him. And now that she knows about his perfidious behavior to rid Tara of anyone close to her, she is on her guard against him. And he only has himself to blame for it.
