Chapter 6
The NFC won the Pro Bowl handily. Both Adam and Brendan had played well. Adam, when his turn came to quarterback, threw for two touchdowns and had dived into the end zone for a third. Brendan had two interceptions and ran a fumble back for a touchdown which helped lead the conference to its lopsided victory over the AFC. Adam was named MVP and Brendan was named defensive player of the game. These accolades were sure to boost the star status of both men with the league and make Brendan an even more desirable prospect for the Mustangs.
Maybe, Adam had thought, this playing for the same team idea would be a good thing after all.
